Pelicans suck - showcase Grant. Drive and dish to Grant who is cutting. If the defense collapses on those two, kick it to Bey for 3!

Didnt Jaxson Hayes have some girl friend beating or something? I remember his name in the news.

it'll be good to see grant and KO back, hopefully the transition to getting chemistry back isn't to bad.

It will simply be nice to not have our front court players be outmatched the whole night in terms of size. Cade won't have to get 10 + rebounds tonight. Will we see iso Grant? I still think he's likely here after the trade deadline, so hope they start to figure things out....

For sure will be interesting to see how the rotation plays out tonight... and how much burn Diallo gets as a backup. Are all his backup minutes at the SF spot behind Bey? Most likely but we'll have to see what happens.

A minute and a half in and we've got three different Pistons players with 2 points each. Bey and Cade have yet to get a FGA.

Cade has had at least 3 really nice passes to teammates but they were fouled twice and Grant missed his lay in... 3 should have been assists yet Cade still has zero assists... but they did lead to 4 made FTs.

Its the right shot by the wrong guy. In the NBA you cant have someone on your team that no one needs to guard. It makes it too easy on the defense.

Stew needs to hit those.

yeah i don't haaaate him taking 3s if it's late in the shot clock or it's after an action but that early in the shot clock he shouldn't be shooting them. much rather see him do a quick dribble handoff and let someone else take advantage of that open space.

The problem with Stew is that he just isn't big or athletic enough to battle these bigs consistently for rebounds. We have to fix this size problem before next season.

Last year Beef Stew made 33.3% on about one 3 point attempt per game which is decent for a first year big man that isn't known for shooting. One of the biggest bummers of this season with Stewart is the fact he didn't improve on that. If he was 35% on 1 attempt per game he'd really be keeping the defense honest and making some opposing bigs have to step out on him but right now no one is going to leave the paint to contest that.

bringing in john beilein as a shooting coach has been a disappointment imo.

He's top 30 in the NBA in rebound per minute. Lots of the people above him are max contract players. If anyone is weak in the rebounding department its Jerami Grant. Stewart is slightly better than someone like Mo Bamba, and just slightly behind Embiid.
