But dinwiddie slows us to a crawl and we play sloooooooow. I don't even know what the coaching philosophy is at this point

Din pounds the ball, and watches for things to develop. He is not a creator as much anymore. He would be perfect for the Lakers. And oh look, the Lakers need a PG.

Now we’re in no man’s land in the standings with a tough stretch of games coming up.

Might as well shut Beal down and trade as many vets at the deadline. Let the young guys play so we can see who to build around going into the off-season.

This sounds like frolicking through a meadow to me.

Giannis took it personally when Rui talked his shid after putting up a 3 to make it 88-85 Wizards

Giannis last dunk he shoved Rui away.

Watched an old golf tournament rerun instead of watching the game. Just looked at the box. How’s that showcasing thing going for you Tommy? Looks like Dimwit and Bryant were pretty useless.

Holliday… great pickup and all we gave up was a first round pick but hey we got the incredible flying I Todd as well.

This is reminding me of Ernie’s last good move - getting a first for Heiny twice then squandering it all by shixy draft picks.

Tommy got himself some capital… then blew it all on a few cheap hookers.

I watched the game this morning. I thought the Wizards actually played a very good game except for a disastrous opening 6 minutes, and except for Dinwiddie's ball-stopping down the stretch. I really liked the look of Avdija, Hachimura and Kuzma all sharing the floor with Harrell.

Hachimura still doesn't have his legs back. He was getting beat in isolation by Jrue and Giannis in situations where he typically holds up much better. Offensively, he looks pretty good though. He continues to take 3's without hesitation, and he isn't going up weak around the rim. Once he gets to 100% defensively, he will be a solid rotation player.

Avdija had a typical outing. Always in the right place on D, always moving the ball on O. Great glue guy with the best on/off differential on the team. I was annoyed with Wes Jr. when he took Avdija out in the last 7 minutes of the 4th. Obviously, Harrell and Kuzma should have been on the floor. And I could even live with Dinwiddie and KCP as veteran guys who can score and defend, but I didn't understand Kispert and then Hachimura as the 5th guy rather than Avdija.

I love that our 4 youngest players (Avdija, Hachimura, Kispert and Gafford) had the best on/off differentials on the team.

I can't help but think how interesting that game might have been if we had Ben Simmons playing PG instead of Dinwiddie. The defense could be terrific with so much size and switchability, and Simmons would get the team running.

I've been in favor of selling high on Kuzma, but I'm starting to have second thoughts. That guy can do a little of everything and he can get a bucket when the offense bogs down. He really only needs a slight improvement in shot selection to become a damn good player.

Bertans got a DNP-CD.

I've been impressed by Kuz's play most nights. But I too have been of the mindset that he'd make a good trade piece for the Zards. However with each successive game--and watching how Kuz has expanded his offensive game--I've begun to question the wisdom of trading him. He's looking more and more like someone you'd want to keep around to see just how much more he's going to improve and impact winning.

They had a live mic on Kuzma during last night's game. He showed some real vocal leadership.

I have never been so sure I wanted a "star" player traded as much as I do with Beal. Usually there is some kind of sad nostalgia with it even though I know its time... Not with this guy. Get him gone tonight if possible.

Dinwiddie is a far bigger problem than Beal.

Ball stopper, can't shoot, slows the game to a crawls pace, but sure, let's keep blaming Beal.

Dinwidie sucks right now and is a problem, I don’t disagree. However it seems like you are just trying to deflect regarding Beal and ignoring that he too sucks this season. These guys are both playing like crap NBA players and the points are not mutually exclusive.

However every time I watch one guy stink it up, I am reminded that he is holding the franchise hostage, takes zero accountability, and has been unjustifiably entitled all season. That is what makes the Wizards hard to watch when Beal is on the floor. I’m a Wizards fan, I’m use to terrible play so Dinwiddie is par for the course. This extra crap is what makes it so hard to watch Beal play terrible.

I've noted on a number of occasions that Beal is a having terrible season.

Pointing out that Dinwiddie sucks, and has always sucked isn't deflection, it's a fact backed by years and years of data.

The rest of your rambling on Beal is just that.

Dude, you replied to me in a post I directly targeted my distaste for Beal by bringing up Dinwiddie. I clearly should of just responded “please don’t ramble about Dinwiddie to me” because you never wanted to have a discussion. You just wanted to defend Beal and trash Dinwiddie. Got it.
