CP! Shouldn't that be an And1? You can run into a player after they shoot?

Point God
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Lol.....

When he grabs a ton of boards you guys whine about him either padding stats and not getting back on defense.

I missed this DA bashing though, we almost made it 2 quarters before it started back up.

I'm always on him hard for lazy rebounding and a lack of effort when doing so. Always. You know this, so don't act as though it's new thing. Dude has stone hands and exhibits lax effort a lot. I've never once said anything about him stat padding though, so I'll let that one roll off because it's for someone else.

I'll continue to be critical of him when he plays soft. That goes for anyone else on the team, too. I don't ask nor expect you to agree and I'm sure the same can be said of yours posts as well.

If you're gonna bash him, bash him for getting lost on the defensive end. That's where we're getting killed. Switches and adjustments. Him straying towards getting back on D as opposed to snatch rebounds isn't bad.

I want All-Star game to have a defensive competition. I'd love to see guys like Mikal guard dudes 1-on-1.

Couldn't he swim? I mean there are so many pools in AZ, and at every high end hotel. He can't make Griffin look like he is a young Griffin.

Ayton definitely looks zapped out there.Especially towards the end of the half.He didn't even attempt to block out his man or go up for the rebound on a couple of occasions.

He's less lost this season than he was the past two, so it's good he's finally getting it. He routinely gets lost and turned around and that's happened a couple times already.

We do need him as McGee and Biyombo aren't going to really get it done on the regular, but those two do well in his absence because they play things a bit differently. Those two just clean up and clear out off whatever comes their way. Ayton seems to need feeding.

We have a luxury many teams do not and while Ayton frustrates me quite often, he does well enough in most instances.

For all the haters we have zero chance of winning a championship without Ayton, that's just facts.

Cardio is necessary and while swimming and other activities aren't the same as playing hoops, to discount their effectiveness as a means of staying in that kind of shape is pretty laughable. Smart athletes cross train.

Great game for all backcourt players so far. The frontcourt players could do better in the second half.

Yeah, I mentioned this before with him and McGee. When you are out that long and it's something like an ankle where you can't run at all, you can't stay in basketball shape at all. Running full court for over 20 mpg is one of the hardest sports to be conditioned for.

But even harder if you play 30+ minutes or close to it and even harder if you are a big.

When McGee was out before for a few games he had a hard time playing very many minutes at all right when he came back.

I'm sure if you watch enough of Draymond, Gobert or any other DPOY level defensive anchors, you'll see multiple times every game where they get a step slow on a rotation, slow on a recovery or pace themselves by not jumping at every shot attempt. And these are guys who have been in the league for a long time.

Ha, played since I was 10, and swimming since I was 5. There are tons of things you can do in the pool that doesn't put weight on your ankle, but gives you great exercise.

Zero chance? Facts? Uh, okay. We definitely have a chance, but it's diminished significantly without him but that's why you have a supply of other supporting players. It's a team game last I checked.
