Trade Harden now. Do not wait til the off-season

Nash and Marks both need to go. Joe Tsai needs to wake up.

Honestly I would much rather hold onto Harden for the rest of this season, unless the team knows that he's definitely being hobbled by an injury. You trade him to Philly and you can kiss what little chance we have of winning a chip, let alone the East, goodbye. When he came over from Houston he played out of his mind and I wouldn't be shocked if we see a similar "revival" with whatever team he moves on to.

Which makes his decline even sadder. Guy lost a step and can't adjust.

He doesn't even look like an all star anymore.

Giving him a max contract would be suicide.

Agree on everything you said , but current Harden ? Not who he was , thats a past , Houston past , not even ours

No not current Harden lol. Not at all.

Although current Harden is still better than Deron by the end of his Nets run. The level of decline is similar.

Last year Harden was still incredible. This drop off is uncanny. I think that hamstring injury really **** him. Hes never looked the same.

You two sound like Houston fans going after CP. Both need to chill on Harden and D.Will comparison. He just had several 30 point triple doubles when he felt like it. Also look at how he moves, he ain't hurt, not right now.

Harden-KD-Kyrie is still by far our best chance. id rather roll with harden this year and lose him for nothing then trade for Simmons in-season.

Simmons is a defensive monster and he fits well with Kyrie. He doesn't have to create here like he did with the Sixers at all.

Just play tough defense and play make.

We get Maxey too and its even better.

Obviously if we do it we have to fire Nash too.

The Big 3 isn't happening anymore. Harden sucks. Hes not going to help us win a title. Get off him while you can.

We have a chance to win a title with KD back, kyrie and harden.

we have no shot with simmons. doesnt matter how good his D is. playoffs you set one screen, its a switch and simmons is on the corner out of the play. and then you can ignore him on offense to double team. We already lack spacing.

This team is still all-time elite with the big 3, even with current version of harden. you HAVE to give them one more crack at it.

Harden does not want to be here. Stop deluding yourself man

Daryl Morey is an idiot who desperately wants him.

Extract all you can from him while you have leverage.

Then watch the Sixers collapse once they realize hes not good anymore.

Yea Simmons got in trouble scoring in late game situations, he wouldn't have to do that with Kyrie and KD. On the Sixers he only had Embiid who is a post player, not someone who can create easily of the dribble like Kyrie/KD.

Plus Harden seems kinda injury prone now. Health is one key to success, Sixers were first in the east with Simmons/Embiid.

I hate this team, I hate Sean Marks for hiring Steve Nash.

Harden needs to be traded and Kyrie needs to stop wasting our time.

I'm so sick of nash.... his comments were as bad as his coaching:

"You add it all up, it looked like a tired team in the second half, and the game swung completely the other way.”"
Hey moron... if your team is tired, maybe you dont ride an 8 man rotation. Maybe you give Edwards/Bembry more then a combined 25 minutes. Maybe you play Sharpe more then 0 minutes.

You know what you dont do? ride your tired player 38 minutes as he walks up and down the floor.

Nash: "I thought James looked tired." Thought the Nets just didn't make shots and ran out of gas.
He dickwad, if he looked tired, maybe sit him on the bench for someone who ist.

Cally our timeouts. use your bench, use your energy guys. its not that complicated.

He was gassed for sure. Im not putting this bad performance on him. if he doesnt have it between injuries and fatigue he shouldnt be out there 38 minutes. especially at -21 and not helping us.

Why do we have no shot with Simmons?

He can do things on offense besides shooting. He needs to play near the rim which he was barely allowed to do because of Embiid.

Put Simmons as a small ball 4 or 5 and he will have a good role offensively.

You have to assume we get Harris back. Then we have KD and Kyrie. There will be enough spacing.

How do you know we are elite with the Big 3? Based on a 2 game sample size? Harden sucks.

I would way rather have a new big 3 with Simmons. It makes way more sense long term too. Simmons is young and can play with KD and Kyrie long term.

Harden is basically done. 1 or 2 more good years left if any.

Those guys cant create shots when simmons defender is waiting to double team the ball at all times ignoring simmons.

Fire Nash. Trade Harden. And pay the fines for Kyrie.

Only way I see us saving the season. Otherwise were doomed.

You keep saying "harden sucks" but this version of harden is better then any point of simmons career.

He is being abused by nash.

our chances are 10 times better this year with harden vs. simmons. it would be billy king level bad to trade harden in season

Harden is not good anymore man. Its not about his motivation.

He legitimately can't do the things he used to do. And hes super out of shape and injury prone.

Absolutely ridiculous. After seeing how many players we have on this roster that can contribute when given minutes when the team was hit by Covid, he's really just going to sit here a lament how gassed the players looked all while continuing to ride those very same players. Its a great observation Nash, why didn't you do something about it DURING the game. What a **** idiot.

It doesn't work like that. If a defender leaves Simmons to double, he can cut and rim run to get his buckets, which is where he easily scores in the paint, he was great at it.

I will concede his biggest issue has been the decline in his FT% that is a big concern. Shooting 34% in the playoffs was pretty brutal, a bigger issue than his FG shooting. He went from 70% to 57% to 34%, thats brutal in 3 playoff years.

My man, you need to read the league rule again. It clearly says " fines and suspension for breaking state/city mandate " .

Go check NetsDaily, 4 or 6 post breaking it down.

He passed up open dunks in the playoffs and has major mental breakdowns. he hasnt played at all this year, is unvaccinated himself, and mentally is probably not close to contributing.

Our offense already struggles because of lack of spacing. this would be a death blow.

Harden-KD-Kyrie if togehter is still the title favorite

Just fire nash and add a shooter if harris cant return. thats our best bet.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
