One deal I saw yesterday on the trade board was favors for dragic. Something I might be willing to do s it creates a massive 10m tpe that we can use to get players. Blazers and Celtics both a couple of million over the tax. Maybe we can get Pritchard and mclemore to help with 3 pt shooting. And get them out of the tax at the same time.

Dragic, Flynn, Svi for Burks and Rose if Raptors want to try their hardest starting this year. The trade really bolsters the bench production and veteran presence on the team. The salaries match almost perfectly and shouldn't push the Raps into extra tax territory either.

With a healthy Birch, the rotation instantly becomes 10 man deep giving the option of managing minutes based on matchups and how the role players are playing.

I would love to have rose. I don’t think he’s being shopped though. Thibs wouldn’t allow it.

There is zero chance Rose is available. Derrick Rose and Taj Gibson are Tom Thibideau's favorites. Where he goes...they go.

I know. It's really a thought based on what's going on around the league and if the Knicks keep losing and finally give up for the year. Even Thibs could end up booted.

Not sure if it’s been discussed, but I would love to get Daniel Gafford. He’s in and out of Washington’s rotation. I think they are looking to move him or Harrell as they have a log jam at C with Bryant.

he signed an extension, so he is ppp, its not impossible, but very hard just to have numbers work cba wise.

he will count $1.8 million from washington side in a trade, but for the raptors it will count $11 million

When did Gafford have his contract converted?
Because I am not sure if enough time will have passed to allow him to be traded at the deadline due to the 3 month rule.

its possible for them to trade him, but he is ppp, like i just posted its 1.8 mil outgoing for wizards, 11 mil for team acquiring him. good luck making the numbers work for it to be cba compliant, can be possible with big salaires like beal involved, but not a small trade.

Rose may be a tough get;
He is a Thibs guy.

However, the Knicks have a lot of what we need.
Middling bench depth.

Walker and Noel are both salary that doesn't extend beyond next season and then you have Burk who has two more full seasons remaining. If you can convert Dragic into two bench guys, you may be doing okay.

Is he unable to be traded because of a PPP or because of the "cant be traded 3 months after a two way is converted to a real contract rule? ?

ppp; he signed an extension in the offseason, more than 3 months ago. was never on 2 way.

These are pretty interesting

Trade 1, from Michael Grange: Dragic, Achiuwa, Flynn, a top-10 protected 2022 first-round pick and a 2023 second-round pick to San Antonio for Doug McDermott and Jakob Poeltl

Trade 2, from Michael Grange: Dragic, Achiuwa, a top-10 protected 2022 first-round pick and a 2023 second-round pick to New Orleans for Jonas Valanciunas and Nickeil Alexander-Walker

Trade 3, from William Lou: Dragic and a lottery-protected 2022 first-round pick to Sacramento for Harrison Barnes

What's Gafford's ceiling?

I want to know how we could realistically get a young C for cheap that we can develop into one of the best C's in the league.

Dragic and a 1st should be decent value for a team. That Raps pick is interesting, because with our "depth" we are an injury away from the lottery.

Trade 1 and 2 may be okay (though too many picks going out to the Spurs in Trade 1).

Trade 3 is terrible - why are we giving up a pick for Harrison Barnes?

I don't think Precious is on the table for trade discussions at all.

I think the package is Dragic/Flynn/lottery protected first round pick. I can't see Masai moving Precious right now.

I'm also willing to bet a team like Utah or any other contender would trade a first round pick for a Boucher to give them a small ball 5 or stretch 4 who offers rim protection and shooting.
