Unless I missed something, the East has only 1 true “big”
Yup, pretty mindless.

Allen or Ball over VanVleet would've made more sense to me, personally.

Ball probably makes it in as the injury replacement.

Middleton, Tatum, and Vanvleet are all weak all-star selections. Ball seems in a similar category as them, but if you look at Allen, IMO that is the biggest snub. Shooting 67% from the field and is an integral part of the Cavs top 5 defense.

Bucks fan reporting in to say Middleton did not deserve his selection this year. Jrue is the Bucks second best player and has played really well, but I'm not sure the Bucks deserve a second all star..

With the way standings are teams 1-10 in the East really deserve one each in the game.

Jarrett Allen's impact goes beyond him averaging a double double. He's also an excellent rim protecting big and has been crucial to Cleveland being one of the top defenses in the league.

Honestly, I have no idea how Allen didn't make the team. That is just baffling.

Edit: Just remembered that Kevin Durant needs a replacement in the starting line up, which means we're going to have an injury reserve spot on the East. If that spot doesn't go to Jarrett Allen, then something is very wrong here.

I guess the coaches didnt think 2 Cavs should make it and thought Garland was the more impactful player (I'd agree too personally).

What is it with some Raptors fans and calling everyone that disagrees with them casuals? No, I do not believe FVV is better than Ball or Allen. No, that does not make me a casual.

Garland deserves it far more than VanVleet does.
