Eric Gordon is available and can be had for cheap. Bogdan might be as well. If we walk away with those two it will be an absolute home run.

bogdan would be an absolute home run

smart player, deadeye 3pt shooter, can playmake, not getting opportunities in atl

If we get another bench player for Dragic (and draft compensation), he's gonna have to be a tough player/ defender who's proven now imo and not someone we think we can mold into one. Someone like Josh Hart, Kenrich Williams, Gary Harris. I've soured on Ross, don't think he'd get minutes with Nurse, as with many of the names mentioned in this thread

love this idea

kemba dropped like 40 earlier this year, we need someone who can score like that

noel was key for them last year too

kemba walker was benched by thibedou for his lack of defense; what makes you think nurse is going to give him any run either?

How many 1sts will Detroit give us to get out from his contract? I don't really see him as helpful because he's not going to help defend Embiid (aside from intentionally injuring him), and he'd be taking minutes from Achiuwa/Boucher.

We already have one scrub in Birch on a three year contract...

Hopefully we can get rid of him and keep Boucher.

I think most people thought the Birch deal was 1 year too long when he signed it.

Idgaf I would not give up a FRP for Yak.

His absolute lack of a jumpshot will make him useless come Playoff time when teams put him on the FT line and make us go 4 on 5 offensively.

We are doing really well with our starting 5. I don't see us adding a starter level player and bumping Barnes out...or GTJ like some have suggested.

I think this year, we keep our 1st and do what we can to shore up the bench using Dragic and his contract and possibly 2nd rd picks.

Rockets want a 1st for him and they have no reason to sell low or have a need to clear salary.

Bogdan makes sense as the Hawks have to pay Hunter in 2023 but they could just move his salary in the off-season while using him for one more playoff run.

Nurkic seems like a natural target, unless the Raps view him as too much of a hindrance to their flexible, positionless ideals.

To go 4 on 5 offensively in the Playoffs while teams willingly send Yak to the FT line?! No f'ing thanks!

Agree, with the emergence of Barnes looking comfortable playing at the 5 now, I don’t see Masai shaking up the starting 5. Will probably add a reliable bench scorer/guard with the Dragic contract. I don’t see the Raps necessarily adding a big either.

Or...he's had some unfortunate injury luck and is a far better player than you're giving them credit for. He's on a very reasonable deal as a backup center..
