The Kum names are gonna work long term anyway simply because no one in national media can ever use them.

After watching him last night I thought of The Cobra (King Kobra?) because he's really good at slithering through the lane followed by the quick strike dunk. And they are found in the Congo after all. Maybe too close to Mamba though.

Also still like The Panther because he's silky smooth and stealthy, you're dead from above before you know it.

I've seen enough. These patch's of dominance he displays in game....when (not if ) he develops consistency, we are looking at a perennial all star here guys

Just call him Kuminga. His name is already cool/unique enough.

or call him King Congo

I'm still thinking of Kuminga as a more fluid, more fully-realized (and maybe more durable) Zion. Some young players just come into the league with a natural nose for the rim and great strength (another example was Amare Stoudemire), and that's what this kid has. You hold your breath whenever he gets the ball.

The question is whether he eventually decides he wants to start floating more outside. The Warriors don't need that. I hope he takes his time with that and understands how he can dominate inside. Alpha Dog strength, fluidity, agility and a natural nose for the hoop? Too strong for 3's, too quick for 4's? Yikes. I love it.

This to me was his best game. Look at how he moves without the ball, setting picks and making cuts.

He was reading the offense at a high level and moving without the ball accordingly. This is what will make him scary as part of our team, and capitalizes on Steph and Klay’s gravity.

Watching that video the thing that impressed me is how decisive he is with the ball. He makes quick accurate decisions and then he finishes strong. That is so rare for ac19 year old.

I can't believe he fell to GSW. Watching the predraft coverage I thought "great, we pick 7th and this draft is 6 deep". But he fell just enough!
