This was an awesome dunk by Luka but the move from Drummond to contest that shot was impressive. Damn, dude pirouetted on Chriss to attempt blocking that shot with his left hand. Imagine if he blocked that shot, that would have been one of the best blocks ever.

Read on Twitter

Here, you can just watch for yourself.

I want to watch the whole game, not just 1 call.

From this call, I see a Cavs player already out of bounds before the whistle is blown and what are those 2 clowns on the bench doing in the first place? I don't understand what happened there because the score doesn't change after the replay, obviously if they gave the Hornets the basket that's insane, but without seeing the entire game it's hard to judge whom the whistle favoured

The play was blown dead. When he stepped out of bounds the baseline ref blew his whistle and play stopped. Rozier shot a 'practice shot' 3-5 seconds after the play was blown dead and the refs counted it. Which is also why Garland/Davis stepped over on the court because it was a dead ball in between plays.

Not only did they count the shot when the playclock shouldnt have been running, they gave a T to Garland for stepping on the floor.

He would not be able to make all those moves if he was not athletic. It's not all about who can jump the highest or run the fastest. Coordination and movement are a big part of it.

People talk like Luka not a prime athlete...he just over weight...when this dude gets serious about conditioning and stops the bad shots he will be back in the mvp conversation...

This offseason let’s hope like hell this dude works out like Giannis!

Lol if he gets serious about conditioning, getting the MVP will probably a minimum for a guy of his godly talent, it's about coming back to a GOAT/top 5 of all time trajectory.....which is why seeing him looking like a grandpa after an offseason is so irritating to ANY true basketball fan who wants to see history being made.

Cause yeah, he might probably win a ring and a MVP title even being out of shape so talented and clutch he is but any real basketball fan knows that what he showed in his first two seasons is worth of more, much more than "only" a NBA title and MVP winner
...it's probably worth of a future top 5 player of all time at least (which he is obviously very far of when so out of shape as at the beginning of this season)

Of course, it's his life, he owes nothing to nobody but with that godly basketball he's got, he has to realize that he owes something to the game of basketball at least and has to respect it by at least giving his all for it and its fans on AND off the field

I read he has a 42' vertical leap.
Can anyone confirm that?
Because the impression I get from here is he can't jump much.

No idea, probably not that high.

I know there's some dunks in this video but they all seem pretty casual.

Beyond his conditioning he needs to work on his shooting and shot selection. Luka is a bad shooter.,, reality check- if he doesn’t improve his shooting or shot selection he isn’t going to catch Trae Young- or any of the guys shooting 35+% from 3 and 85% from the line. Luka is great in big games but he takes so many bad shots that over time, he is something less than Trae at the current time. We can’t forget that Luka is closer to Westbrook’s level of shooting than Currys and is taking more 3s than damn near anyone.

Just being honest that’s it’s more than just conditioning- it’s being smarter about not taking 8 3s a game… because his TS% is you know … not good

I don’t see why anyone thinks in shape Luka can’t jump as high as any other 22 year old nba player…

There is no evidence that Luka can’t jump as high.. Luka gets rebounds, dunks and beats guys off the dribble and don’t tell me he has the basketball IQ of draymond when he TO so much and shoots so
Many bad shots and misses defensive assignments. Luka is like most 22 year old amazing athletes- doing things so much better than their peers but for some reason people think it’s his mind but he constantly does physical things better than guys on an nba court…

Masterclass performance by Luka, but if Simmons is there he doesn't put up those numbers.

Games like these really illuminate the importance of Simmons. He can take out players like Luka, or at the very least slow them down. Thybulle and the other players simply aren't strong enough.

That just makes no sense. What's your sample size with Mavs-76ers where Luka looks bad? Played against each other 3 times or something like that?
