If Brook is out for the year, his salary slot will make the trade deadline far more interesting.

I highly doubt they are related. His checkup is in LA right? If they're coordinating that around when the team is in LA then he hasn't even had it yet.
And it's just a 10 day. The only connection is that they need big bodies.

Welcome back Moose! It'd be so cool to win the championship with Monroe in the team.

Monroe looked good in his stint with the T-wolves in December. Bucks need another center badly, especially defensively, I think Monroe will be a very good addition for the Bucks.

I feel like I’m in a bad dream.

In before an MCW trade or Kendall Marshall signing.

Nothing about this makes sense.

I think Monroe will be very good for the Bucks defensively, rebounding and passing. I like this signing.

Monroe's 2016-17 season stats with the Bucks off the bench.

Always liked Monroe, but his game is too old fashioned for the modern NBA. Can he provide any useful minutes? Can he defend, move his feet and rebound well nowadays?

From his Twolves highlights, he appears to be a good passer from the post still, and has his usual good post moves. Could be a decent pickup.

It's quaint the Bucks seem to try to be bringing back our "greatest hits" from the past 10 years, but there is a big reason why these guys weren't on the championship team last year. Can't try and get every guy you liked a ring when you're already carrying three corpses on the bench with guaranteed contracts.

Wow, Bucks have a higher payroll than the big market Lakers. Bucks have come a long way since the Herb Kohl era.

We spent money with Kohl's. It was how we spent it that was the issue. I always thought we were middle of the pack.

Time to dust off my Monroe jersey....probably right next to my Magloire and Tim Thomas.

He’s far better than mamu. At least he can give some help rebounding. Also did Giannis learn his spin move from the moose

10 days of a big body to give some reprieve, it’s not like they signed him to a 3 year deal.

Calm down.

Nice to see moose back for a week, always thought it was kinda cool how he seemed to accept his bench role pretty quickly after being a somewhat big free agent signing.

Insignificant move overall, maybe save a few minutes of beating off Giannis. Might not see the floor like kornet who knows.

I’m excited to see the approach this deadline, wouldn’t be too mad if they stayed put but that would be pretty different than the usual with Horst.
