Ayo looked okay tonight, get someone like him that drops to the 2nd round because he's a junior or senior.

Agbaji.

He won't drop to the 2nd round. A guy who shoots and defends like that can't drop past the 20s (especially after Bane did and teams are smarting from missing him) because you can throw him into a rotation tomorrow. Better version of Kispert.

He could be in the Raptors range due to age though. I believe he would end up a steal.

Oh yeah, he could be our first rounder, though I see his lack of steals and FT% turning off Masai. Also he's sort of a duplicate with Trent because neither should be our secondary ball-handler. It would be a big bet on Scottie as a PG, since our 2nd unit would probably be Scottie
1 of OG/Fred/Siakam
Agbaji
Boucher
Achiuwa

unless we can turn Dragic or the non-tax MLE into a rotation quality player.

Also we might just like Jalen Harris to play 14 minutes a night behind Trent and look instead for a big PG or a high-upside big or wing like Kamagate or Sochan.

Better version of Kispert?! lol what??? He's not even a shooter. Shot horrible percentages his first 3 college seasons, this year has been the anomaly and he still shoots a bad FT percentage for a guard.

Julian Champagnie > Agbaji

Beats him in nearly every statiscal category, 3 inches taller, longer, younger, just as good scorer (if not better - been averaging near 20ppg for two years now, not one), better rebounder, averages more steals, more blocks, more assists. I really don't see how or why some people keep putting Agbaji over JC.

41% on 345 threes last year and this one. That's basically an NBA season for a rotation 3 and D guard playing 25 minutes like you might figure a ready made rookie would.

I don't think Agbaji has the upside we like though people praise his man to man D a ton, and I agree Champagnie seems to (like most people I've seen a lot of Kansas and basically no St. John's ball) but Agbaji's shooting might be for real, even with the bad FT form.

Kendall Brown is not that good. He has no shot, limited offense game and is not a strong rebounder. He can only be good right now on a run and gun team. Sochan is being wasted on that team, that Kansas game was so bad but Sochan was their best player. He had post moves, hit a three, grabbed boards, played solid defense, runs the break. Oh and Kansas looked really good, Bruin(??) looks good along with other two.

I agree. I like Sochan best outside the lottery

I apologize for thinking AJ Griffin wasn't ready yet. He has proven me wrong.

I saw one highlight of Jabari Smith, and I was like "Gotdang". Dude is a superstar in the making imo.

If he can improve his skills with the ball he's a 10/10 elsewhere, but I have no idea if he'll be Rashard Lewis with defence (solid all-star, not a #1 option, like a Middleton at the 4) or he'll develop and be a superstar. I think if he can spend 2 months dribbling and working on that stuff and show some development in workouts he can go #1.

I don't think it's crazy for Mathurin to fall towards 15 or so. He's having a fine year, but not dominant.

It seems we are drafting at 20 at the moment.
Perhaps our range would be 16 - 22 (I assume we make the playoffs).

I haven't really done my due diligence like I did last year, but Kendall Brown is someone who caught my eye. I know he's been mentioned a lot in this thread, but I'm just here to throw my hat on his bandwagon too. For now...

I also like Walker Kessler, JD Davidson, Justin Lewis, and Jaden Hardy.

Brown has the tools but he's too raw. He can't shoot. Not a scorer. He's athletic and a good, not lockdown, defender. But his recent games haven't been very good. No issues with the others on your list - good players. Kessler might end up being a shot blocking Plumlee which is a rotational player. The Pllumlees are a little more athletic but I mean a serviceable big that can chew up minutes.

Watched a bit of Duke-Virginia. Wendell Moore's shot looked inconsistent in terms of arc and Mark Williams looked awkward as hell trying to post up.
