Does this include asking Mr. Part Time to become a full time player? Otherwise KD is full of **** too
He isnt talking about Kyrie.
Over the weekend everything coming out sounds like the role guys/rest of the team arent giving their all. Woj and Fischer both mentioned things about that yesterday. Harden seems frustrated but after digging in, Fisher said its not Kyrie, since he "has been playing hard"
Kyrie's situation "[For Harden] it hasn’t been as much of a problem as one would expect" since he has played hard when available.
Then KDs comments about commitment. I doubt its Kyrie since last week KD said that having Kyrie back is big and it reenergizes the team. An when Eddie asked him about Kyrie being in game shape he said
he's been working out, yo.. you know Kobe was his mentor so thats the work he bring with him
I mean Milsap, Brown... those guys had inconsistent roles. Bembry has been jerked back and forth. Sharpe/Claxton/Blake in and out of the rotation. Duke starting to being DNP-CD. It is a chicken and egg thing but those guys arent bringing it like they did when COVID forced them into clear role with minutes they can count on.
The roster decisions and guys play seem to be at the crux of Harden/KD's current frustration. I'm not saying thats all it is but it certainly is part of the problem.
Nash isnt going anywhere.
Kyrie isnt going anywhere and will be part time for a bit longer.
We need to find solutions outside that reality. if these guys arent committed then for both their sake and ours marks needs to find them a new home. We already knew that both Milsap and Blake where unhappy with their roles. I'm sure Brown is the same. Brown/Blake where playing big minutes in the playoffs and watched their jobs go the the likes of Duke Jr. and Johnson and Sharpe.
Bembry id have to think has some frustrations too, given how well he has played and how inconsistent his role has been.
Marks needs to make a move. whether it the a coach, a blockbuster trade or just reshuffling role guys via trade. waiting 2 more weeks for a buyout wont cut it.
Good news is. the big 3 seem to want to stay together and be here. the rest are all very disposable.
