Not a fan of this move for CLE. Save the picks to make a bigger move for a better player. LeVert doesnt move the needle for them at all. LeVert has only been equal to the league's average TS% 1 time which was his rookie year. Ever since he has been below the average. He has a career 52 TS% and has only been above a 32% 3pt shooter 2 times in his 6 seasons.

In my opinion they should've saved that 1st for a bigger deal (practically 2 1sts with that HOU 2nd), or just keeping it.

I don't really like it for Cleveland, but it's a move that probably doesn't amount to much positively or negatively. But yeah, for a young up-and-coming team, I'd rather hold onto those draft assets and avoid taking on a player who's a bit of an inefficient ball-stopper.

The odds of getting a player as good as lavert outside the lottery arent great. Hes a very good fit with them, either starting or as a sixth man. Their core is in place with Garland/Mobley and allen, Caris is a great addition for just giving up a couple picks.
