IF are only targets are those 3 guys I’m looking at PJ first then Batum. Rui is a career 14-6 guy but shoots the worst and idk about the mental stuff going on with him.

PJ first because of age and ability to shoot at 40% from 3 on 5 attempts.

Batum 2nd because he’s a vet who we can trust in any situation. You know what he brings to the table. 42% from 3 on 5 attempts. Scored 32 in a half in a game this season lol. This is a Iggy, Crowder, Tucker type move were known to make.

Rui has been dealing with mental issues and Washington has been keeping his role down to low pressure situations. I don’t think the Heat have any interest

I quickly went through Japanese media and yeah he seems like a very sensitive fellow. Growing up in Japan (very closed society) as a half African American he must have gone through a lot too and the root cause might be too deep and complicated.

Fair or not, most NBA teams don't wanna deal with that for a role player though he's pretty solid.

True. Only correction I have is that he is not half African American. He has no connection to America other than playing in the NBA. His dad is from Benin. Probably adds to the homesickness.

Damn.. cavs definitely just got better

Although they will give some teams a scare the lack of playoff experience will keep them from going far this season. I can see them getter better exponentially in the next couple of seasons.

Would suck to give up yurt but I question his room for growth on this team with Bam anchored in at center. He may blossom big time with some playing time on another team but we don’t seem to have a role to offer him unless Bam gets injured again

PJ fits Spo ball to a t. He’d be a great option as a stretch 4, and I’d like to see how he adapts defensively in our system. He would be a great understudy for Tucker. Only bad thing is he’s extension eligible I believe (like Herro).
