Jokic with another pathetic half, getting outplayed by 49 year old Blake Griffin.

"Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead" is Griffin's favorite movie, which makes him very dangerous today.

Nothing wrong with the Jokic game today even without playing defense he is arguably still in super-efficient triple-double MVP mode, but when we have a bizarre 76-75 result at halftime it means nobody else not playing defense too.

Very good defense in the 2nd half where Brooklyn scored under 30 points, fewer points than in the 1st or 2nd quarter alone.

Jokic has another triple-double but talking about all-around games I want to notice big late improvement of Aaron Gordon and Monte Morris in that direction. Gordon has his 4th game in the past 3 weeks with 5+ assists (only 1 such game before and also just 1 game with 5+ assists last season since he comes to Denver). Monte Morris all three career games with 8+ rebounds (today 5) also have in the past 3 weeks, he obviously learned how to vulture RB's using his brain despite his lack of height which makes him a much more useful point guard right now than ever before.

Those are usually long rebounds and don't need height that much, just positioning/awareness

Well, Zeke stepped up off the bench again, gaining some consistency.

Great performance. The Nets were on a 7 game losing streak so they absolutely had to take advantage of a slumping team and they did. I really didn't like that 4th quarter though. I though the starters night was done and then all of a sudden they get put back in when the lead is cut to 10.

Gordon looked great. Again, playmaking from the entire starting unit was superb. Jokic is a monster. As long as Jokic and Gordon are available, this team has a chance.
Canned in Denver.

Dying to see if what we saw before Murray went down last year can still work, that team seemed to be turning into a juggernaut !
