Can't believe no one posted this yet. Really in shock they picked my boy DJ! Proud AF to see my Spurs back at the ASG for the first time in 3 years :)

Pretty shocked that Silver picked LaMelo over Jarret Allen though. Allen by far was the biggest snub

There seemed to be a ground swell of support for DJM to get it among players. It's cool that the Spurs managed to get another All-Star the year after moving on from their vets. Hopefully he can use this clout to recruit players or even just to get more individual accolades.

Both guys deserve it. Hornets deserve an AS this year and Lamelo is really good.

They didn't deserve IMO.
Dejounte Murray, really?
A little too soon for me.
In the East better options: Jaylen Brown, Siakam, Allen, and better team record.
West: AD (i know he missed a lot games, but he's balling now), Edwards (he's playing worse in last week or two, but still better for me than Murray and Minny has better record)./

Love the salt. Let's watch it continue when LaMelo is picked ahead of FVV and Garland in the live draft

Dejounte's numbers all around have been better than Edwards. Only thing Edwards has on Dejounte is a higher scoring average. AD would have normally gotten in if it wasn't for injuries but that also plays a role in selection. You can't just be a part time player and get in the all-star game.

Yup, my thoughts exactly. DJ is popular amongst players, now it's time for him to start recruiting

AD has played in less than 60% of their games and they are below .500. T-Wolves already have an all-star in KAT.

Hate to bring up counting stats but Murray is only the third player EVER to average 19/8/9/2 a game. The other two? MJ and Magic. That's some elite company, idc what anyone else has to say. Put some respeck on his name. I'm glad Silver recognizes it 8-)

I like the Murray pick. I think Allen was more deserving than Ball but the Hornets deserved an allstar and Ball is made for the ASG. So I'm cool with that too. Maybe someone else will decide to skip and Allen gets in too.

Anyway, congrats to Ball and Murray.
