So, a big fan of disco, funk, and prog rock are we?
I found the beginning of that era great, the end of it pretty good, the middle awful, and most of the 80s to be far more inventive, more like the mid to late 60s where every outsider with a couple of friends was starting up a band, some of which were actually interesting and good.
I liked grunge but the 90s didn't seem to have that chaotic energy.
