If the deal were to happen I assume that means Bud doesn't see it being an issue and he as well as Darvin Ham coached him for 5 seasons.

Giannis and Thansis are good friends with Schroeder, I don't see him casuing issues here.

Matt Moore reporting that Bucks and Celtics talks about Schroder have gone cold, they’re moving on.

Jrue is a significantly more impactful player than LaMelo. I get why LaMelo made it, but I really don’t think their on-court value has been close, regardless of what the box score and box score-based metrics would suggest. Jrue rates literally near the top of the league in almost every impact metric and it matches the eye test, we roll teams with him on court.

If anyone else should’ve gotten the injury replacement spot besides Jrue should’ve been Jarrett Allen imo.

I’m just so frustrated.

His 4 year, 77M extension kicks in next year. I don't think the Bucks could take that on even if they wanted to.

There is no way Jrue was going to make it and give the Bucks 3 players.

What Happens With Dennis Schroder?

I reported that the Celtics had two offers “on the table” for Dennis Schroder: One from the Bulls and one from the Bucks. As is often the case, league sources said Sunday evening that Milwaukee and Boston had both moved on from talks, at some point.

(The timing on these things and when they get circulated is always suspect. Those talks may have been dormant for “a while” one source said.)

As tempting as it was to get Hood and Semi off the roster, it just wasn't worth it.

its funny to be the only one to report a team is interested and then the next day report they are no longer interested

The Hawks do weird things, would they deal DeAndre Hunter? He'd be the perfect combo forward for us.

Love his game. But if they made him available I'd be super worried they know his knee is going to be a long term problem. Otherwise he's pretty much a perfect guy for a Trae team.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

All true, but I'd always have confidence in Suki and staff to fix him.

Lol there's no way. He's going to be an all star and he just turned 24. We likely wouldn't even be able to make a competitive offer. WHat's the most we could offer? DDV, Nwora, 1st round swaps, and some 2nds?

What's the best player we can get for Hood, Ojeleye, and some 2nds?

Agreed. But casual fans and the media love flash. LaMelo is all flash, Jrue is all business.
