What's your infatuation with this package and what's the long term outlook after making this trade?

Graham is sneaky good, Sato - expiring whatever, Hart is a decent two way rotation player, NAW lost me this year - trending towards bust status.

Max cap space.

Graham shouldn’t be too hard to dump. Hart is UNG. Sato exp. NAW still cheap (and still promising).

Harden?

Yes. Going by the media negotiations, Neubeck (Morey) said the Sixers don’t feel they should have to add anything to Simmons, which was rebutted by Durant saying they should keep him (Marks - we want everything or forget it). But with all the reporting we have, it’s fairly safe to assume James is fed up with The Flat Earther’s antics and has sent indications he would be willing to sign in Philly.

If you come to the table with the ability to sign Harden outright, now BKN is far more likely to play ball in the summer. And if Harden falls through somehow, you pivot and try and sign Beal or LaVine. Worse comes to worse, you have a ton of cap space as an big asset on the trade market. It’s a risky proposition. Gotta roll the dice IMO. Trading everything for Harden now and having a “Big 3” of Jo, Harden… and Tobias :nonono: … with no way to add pieces around them, isn’t good enough.

It also weakens the team if we have any intentions on contending in this playoffs with Harden.

I will die on the hill, alone if necessary, that Tobias gone is addition by subtraction.

You are not alone.

Assuming we get 2 rotational players back, the team wouldn't skip a beat, imo.

Need to get one back in the deal like John Collins or Harrison Barnes.

If we are getting Harden at the deadline I'd want to keep Harris, at least for this run. And I don't like Harris' game at all. He can be a decent pressure release tertiary scoring option which he can be alongside Embiid and Harden.

If Neubeck is Morey, Shams is Klutch/Ben and Woj is Marks, who is Harden?

I don't know why people think you can take away our 2nd leading scorer from an offense that ranks 21st in league then replace him with role players and somehow end up better.

It just boggles the mind really and defies any sort of common sense. He is scoring 26.8 PTS per 100 possesions on .564 TS%. Where is that offense going to come from otherwise? I get some people don't like his playstyle and he's overpaid but we still have to remain grounded in reality here

You're too wrapped up in the numbers to see what's actually happening when he's on the court. But to each their own.

Whatever you think about Tobias Harris no one is trading for him for at least another year.

I highly doubt we are getting Harden at deadline (hope I’m so wrong), in that case I want both Harris and Simmons gone at deadline for cap space and one decent player in return (Halliburton or John Collins)

I still hope I’m so wrong about not getting Harden before deadline, so :)

Harris, Springer, 2022 1st, and 2024 1st to OKC for Favors, Jerome, and 2025 1st returned

That oughta light a fire in Brooklyn's drawers.

I think Tobias is going to be better alongside Harden.

gotta imagine this is the next domino to fall. Makes too much sense, especially with these aholes in BKN playing hard ball.

Tobias Harris and Maxey for Jerami Grant, H Diallo and Josh Jackson.

Clears salary cap space and sets up for a Harden, Embiid and Jerami Grant big 3.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down
