Who has been better so far? Who do you think will be better going forwards?

Avdija has made tremendous strides defensively this year and, unlike Williams, has been healthy. I would be comfortable saying he is ahead of Patrick Williams in every area but one, but it's a big one. Avdija still has not shown he can score at an NBA level of volume and efficiency to be anything more than a defensive role player; Williams has shown better shooting, particularly from 3, enough to be considered a starter. So, though Avdija is the healthier, better defender, and better playmaker, I think Williams has shown more potential to be a difference maker with his shooting stroke. If Avdija can fix that issue, he should be a very good NBA player.
