Any interest in a Mo Bamba? I know as an Orlando fan I'd love to get a look at DDV. What do the Bucks need ?

You'll definitely find some people on here interested in making that swap.

I'll admit I've gotten more intrigued with Bamba as we've gotten closer to the deadline. If Donte, Semi, and say the 2025 Indiana 2nd gets them to pick up the phone, you'd have to consider it for the potential upside.

I'm glad Horst is insisting on Grant Williams. I'd pull the trigger on that but not a straight swap of Donte and Schroeder.

A month ago I was totally on board with Bamba. Now I feel like I'd prefer a lesser talent with a consistent motor.

Would it need to be a FRP in a particular year (with only certain protections attached), or how would this work exactly?

If the Bucks feel confidant we can sign a more substantial piece/s like Thaddeus Young once buyout season gets going it'd be different than if we'd be leaving holes on our rotation of course.

We're owing picks in 2023, 2025 & 2027 so according to the stepien rules we can't trade picks in adjacent years either. The 2022 pick becomes available to be traded as soon as the pick is made. The 2029 pick becomes available to trade next season (you can only send picks 7 years out). So on draft day these two can be sent out. If you add a third pick to that you basicly have 80% of a Jrue package.

Patty C is 4th amongst guards (30 games played) in eFG and 3rd in TS%.

#1 in both? Gary Payton II.

This is a deal that’s been bantered about here ever since Lopez went down. I’ve got a crush on him and have for a long time. I know he’s had motor issues but I’ve wondered what playing around guys like Giannis and Jrue could do for his psyche and Lopez would be a tremendous mentor as in an ideal scenario that’s what theyd love to see him develop into.

Bamba for DDV Nwora and 2nd rounder ?

Yeah, this seems like it'd be the framework for a Bamba deal. I'm sure Bud would prefer a more consistent veteran guy like RoLo, but I'd do this purely as a swing-for-the-fences type move considering the lack of high upside assets this team currently has. Bamba at least gives you regular season minutes and they can also still go grab a couple buyout guys.

He definitely needs a change of scenery, Clifford absolutely killed any confidence he had as we chased meaningless wins for 2 seasons. Now this year he's getting more consistent time and has shown flashes. Only issue is we have WCJ and RoLo who can easily play backup C as we cruise to the worst record in the NBA this year.

I’d probably prefer the Bamba trade for DDV over the Schroeder and Williams trade. We need size. But Schroeder does give you that creation on the ball, which we will also need for the playoffs. Still, size is greater than shot creation for this team’s needs.

Hope they keep the asking price for White Donte too high to pull the trigger. He's going to be an xfactor in the playoffs.

Also hoping they don't trade Nwora either. He's looking stronger & playing with poise.

I think that Giannis and Jrue could keep him motivated. :D

Trade for Schroeder/Williams...keep Moose for the remainder of season. Would we all be ok with this? I think I would.

I think in the Bucks setting, with a new contract as incentive, Bamba might have a chance to get better here, and help with a playoff push.

Equally important, it gives you Bird rights to a center, in case Lopez doesn't come back next year or Bobby gets a massive offer we can't or don't match.
