I still think the move with Dragic is to Atlanta. They have Young and Huerter's extension kicking in next season and will have to re-up Hunter and Okongwu not far in the future. Not sure what their luxury tax situation will look like exactly but I would'nt be surprised to see them try to get out of Gallinari, Bogdonovic and/or Capela contracts. Gallo and Bogi are what we're looking for I'd think. 6th man playmaker/scorer type off the bench. I'd love for it to be Bogi but realistically something like Dragic+Cash for Gallinari is something that would work for everyone involved. Hawks then buyout Dragic and he can do whatever it is his ambitions lead him to.

All the casuals on twitter acting as if Masai needs Turner or its bust lol.

Raps have to play it smart and dont need to give away draft compensation this year.

Masai will find a way to have his cake and eat it too for this deadline.

1) Get rid of Dragic
2) Find low cost bench help.
3) Keep our FRP

I would give that an A

I would rather make Dragic rot than buy him out.

If he sat on the bench all year and played good soldier than sure, but he has not

Thats why this Dragic expiring contract is a godsend and Raptors should not waste it, instead use it to get a player who can help them long term.

Yeah Masai needs to absolutely turn Dragic into something. We have no cap-space to do anything in free agency. Our only way of adding to this team is through Dragic's contract.

If we just end up buying out Dragic, then Im chalking this up as an L

It was not all his fault though. Nurse screwed up as well. Dragic asked to come from bench but Burse would never call his number. You dont treat a veteran like that.
