Is Daryl Morey that internal reliable source? Seriously, how is that guy not facing any tampering charges with his shameful public recruitment of Harden

Unlikely to include first round pick.
Most likely get a bench guard or wing back for Dragic on Thursday.

Are we talking about same Nurkic who is among top NBA players defensively? His defensive rating is better than any current player on Raptors.
DRTG is tough. It focuses too much on counting stats and can be skewed incorrectly. The formula is: Defensive Player Rating = (Players Steals*Blocks) + Opponents Differential= 1/5 of possessions - Times blown by + Deflections * OAPDW( Official Adjusted Players Defensive Withstand).
Nurkic's differential is +0.9% meaning opponents shoot better against him. Harden is 0.3%. GTJ is a surprising +8.9%! FVV is 1.2%
Examples: Gobert -5.4%, Mobley -4.8%, OG -2.2%, Siakam -1.2.%, Barnes -0.4%.
Defensive stats are hard to quantify because so much of it is not countable. Good positioning that leads to players giving up the ball isn't really counted anywhere, nor are stats that show a player was so well defended he couldn't even GET the ball. But those are some of the most important aspects of defense, as opposed to counted stats like steals, or stats like opponent differential which can be biased based on how that offensive player is playing that day.
Going by DRTG alone, you'd be forced to say that Harden at 110 is a better defender than OG at 111, Fred at 111, and as good as Siakam at 110. Boucher at 107 is our best defender.
Steph Curry has a 100.9 DRTG. Draymond has a 101.5. You'd be trying to convince me that Steph is a better defender than Draymond. LOL.
