Perfect deal to sum up our organization.

One of the two promising players we've drafted in the lottery the past 15 years we trade away while he's on his rookie contract.

I like it for both teams.

Kings needed to do something especially with Pels making the CJ trade. Sabonis is an all star and while I really like Hailburton, this is a low price for an All star big man.

Pacers balancing their roster better.

The outrage about this is befuddling. Sabonis is a really good player who isn't even being used optimally. I don't think its set in stone that Haliburton becomes a better player than him.

There is way too much attachment to young players these days. Guy scores more than 10 points in a game and guys are calling him untouchable. It's a bit ridiculous. Sabonis is the best player in this trade and is likely to remain that way going forward.

Sabonis is only 25. He's my favourite player in the deal. Hope it works out for the Kings.

Haha I was told like a week ago that Haliburton was essentially untouchable and would only be traded if the Kings got back a top 12 player...

No draft compensation changing hands huh? Really don’t like it for the Kings. Shorter window before they have to blow it up again. Haliburton would have been nice player to keep for a total reset.

Tyrese is going to be a stud under Rick and I think Buddy will bounce back from his down season with a change in scenery.

I have no idea what the Kings are doing. Sabonis is nice, but what a mess. I get that they had to give up Tyrese but damn, your left with Fox and Mitchell as your lead/PGs

The kings said Haliburton was untouchable for Simmons. I would honestly rather have Simmons than Sabonis.

Reading this thread you wouldn't know the Kings just picked up a 25 year old former allstar who is putting up 18/12 this season.

Haliburton has nice potential but people are treating him like he's Ja Morant.

Kings continue to be Queens. Stauskus is not going to walk through doors at the Golden One Centre to save them.

I really dont understand this trade to be honest. I feel like neither team got any better. I feel like it was just a swap of similar rated players and neither will push their new team over the edge.

I also assume Bagley gets moved by the deadline as well after this.

I think the value is about right for both, but I don’t really like the direction for Sac, just not a Fox believer. Like it for the Pacers.

Think the Pacers should consider continuing to tear down. They have a bit of a pileup at the guard spots now.

So, that means they will trade Holmes.
I see Hardaway jr. plus 2nd round pick for Holmes
