Nice 1-2 punch with Dame and Ayton.
Then add in Anfernee SImons and the draft pick and team is looking really interesting.

Thats somthing to consider make the suns match.

They cleared a max slot for a reason. They're going to try to bring in at least one, maybe two (in a trade attempt), big names to put next to Dame. If they swing and miss, they'll move Dame IMO.

that would be quite the heist if deal like this happend. 2 below avg starters and guy who hasnt played in a year.. I don't see it since Dame is not being traded this year.

Two young players, a pick (maybe) and a young All Star.

I'm old enough to remember when an old star was trader for a young player, a pick and a filler.

Bledsoe and the Pelicans pick to Indiana for Turner

and

Hart and Nurkic to Detroit for Grant and Olynk

both seem like logical next moves if we are truly building around Lillard

Why would Detroit do that?

Dame and Simmons is the new Dame and CJ and they still can't figure out how to build a frontcourt to compliment them.

Nurkic is going to want a 4 year, $70 million deal as a UFA this off-season and retaining Simons will require a 4 year, $60 million deal. On top of that, if they are going to compete they need a starting 4. Ive suggested Jonathan Isaac if the Magic draft Jabari Smith.

I think a lot depends on where they land in the 2022 draft. If they tank and get a top 5 pick, then perhaps they look to keep Dame.

Bingo, like Woj said, the Blazers have set themselves up to bring in talent. They are looking to make more big trades. Nurk is gone for assets, Myles Turner in.

For the record, Detroit would absolutely love to send Grant to Portland. Just, you know, for actual assets they can use.

After all these years, why do people still think Myles Turner is available for cheap?

Ugh. Threading the needle to build a "contender" around Dame is still going to be incredibly difficult. It might really be time to consider moving Dame.

There are no amount of assets between those teams that could make me not blow my head off trading Lillard for Westbrook.

This is fantasy land by Lakers and Philly. Boston or Miami not rescuing it.

Nurkic and Hart to TOR
Dragic, pick (thinking 2022 1st protected 10/10/2nds) and Boucher to POR

TOR gets the depth and big man to make a run now.
POR picks up another first for swapping expirings.

No thanks from POR.

Pretty sure we’ll be keeping Nurk.

they 10000% Trade Lillard.

I'd approach philly with:

Dame + cap for:

-Simmons
-Eat Tobias
-at least 2 1sts
-curry or Thybule

Simmons | Curry | Harris | Nance | Nurkic is at least a playin team and you recoup some picks. when Harris expires you can find simmons his next running mate

It would be some spectacle to turn Westbrook into Ben Simmons.

Nance is a Pelican.
