I'd approach philly with:

Dame + cap for:

-Simmons
-Eat Tobias
-at least 2 1sts
-curry or Thybule

Simmons | Curry | Harris | Nance | Nurkic is at least a playin team and you recoup some picks. when Harris expires you can find simmons his next running mate

Nance is a Pelican.

Meh... insert whomever... thats still a decent team

He’s been credible in the past for NFL and NBA rumors. Not sure what to make of this though…

Absolute garbage idea to think that Dame would go out for Westbrook as the centerpiece. Insane. And why would Boston take on Westbrook as a followup?

If anyone claims to be a CFB expert, and also claims insider knowledge of NFL and NBA rumors, I immediately disregard them out of hand. Who can actually do that and reliably?

Someone with connections I assume. Again, he’s hit on multiple reports in the past. Not saying this is likely and as a C’s fan, I can’t see anything worthwhile here. Not sure the other parts involved.

It's bad clickbait. He even follows it with LAL and Sixers to include significant draft capital, ignoring that LA only has one 1st to deal.

We've got one of those guys in Indy. His name is Evan Massie, and he's lying when he claims he has sources.

Maybe this guy knows Jonnu Smith. That seems to be the one thing he's gotten right. But to take that and then claim he knows the intricacies of maybe the largest trade in NBA history, and he doesn't even understand the requirements? Pretty bad. There are millions of these tweets every year. Yeah, we might occasionally get the barber that knows a thing or two, but we also get hundreds of thousands of yahoos making stuff up. And this is a major thing to try.

I think the first thing to do is see what your options on in terms of rebuilding around Dame. Portland potentially will have 2 lotto picks this year, and it wouldn't surprise me if their own pick is in the top 5, plus potentially $60MM in cap space to play with. I know it's not a great free agent class and Portland isn't really a free agent destination - but Portland becomes a very interesting team if Philly is looking to package Simmons and Harris to clear cap space for Harden this summer. Portland can pretty much absorb both contracts while sending Josh Hart, who would be a rotation player, to the Sixers along with one, or both, of their lotto picks plus future picks and swaps.

At the end of the day, it's hard to get guys like Dame Lillard on the team and this injury year is allowing the organization to re-set. However, if nothing presents itself that makes you a potential contender OR gives you a potential franchise guy to build around post Dame, then you move Dame and continue to build through the draft.

Don’t extend Dame for $100M!
