Ahh hard pass

Plus he’s injured

So was Chris Paul, and I thought trading for him back when he was on the Rockets was a good idea too.

So maybe I just believe in super skilled players. Who would have thought.

He has an abdominal injury. He didn't tear his Achilles or something.

If we had Lillard we'd be a championship squad. At the right price of course.

I worry that small guards historically tend to go downhill faster than bigger guards and Dame was showing troubling signs before he got hurt.

And what are you giving up to get him? You're taking in, what about 55M in contracts? I doubt the Blazers are trading that package for one centered around D'Lo, Beverley and Prince.

And if we give up Ant or KAT, we're not a championship squad.

If you just look at the money and how the deals line up when it comes to roster size and tax, the only rumor that makes sense so far is JRich/Nesmith for Beasley. The other deals all have $$$ issues.

Did the Celtics pick up the option on Nesmith for next season?

New Orleans is 7 games behind us right now. That's a lot of ground to make up in final third of the season. I wouldn't worry about them. It's more about them solidifying a top-ten spot than catching us.

I'd worry about the Pelicans in a 1 game play-in, which has a very real possibility of happening. I'd also worry a bit about the Clippers who I was also referring to in the post.

Honestly, haven't been impressed considering he was billed a shooter coming out Vandy. Would rather not have his salary next season.

It's Doogie... also says the Wolves are looking for rebounding more so than shooting.

He makes 3.8mil next year, c'mon. Not wanting cheap, young, developmental talent that wouldn't create much opportunity for not having him is honestly not a well thought out argument. Richardson being extended is what might matter more to the Wolves.

Assuming we don’t make a move involving Layman. Layman to Kings alongside a 2nd round pick. They have a 6 mil trade exemption and we could dump almost four mil in salary. He is expiring so I doubt they say no.

Bad year this year, but was 37% last year. Hasn't really gotten much opportunity.

Nesmith is meh I think Pritchard has more potential to still be in the league in 3-4 years.

I’d be surprised if Nesmith’s shot doesn’t come back with more minutes. I don’t know that he can hit the ceiling he had coming out of college, but he’ll be solid. Scrappy, high motor, mixes it up in the paint, energetic defender, showed off some midrange attacks in summer league and can already dribble drive on close outs in the regular season. He still plays rushed and hasn’t had the minutes to work through it. Obviously with his shooting he has a floor as a bust, but his ceiling is a better rotation wing than Richardson..

I'm encouraged to see Nesmith averages about 6 rebs/36. Shows a willingness to attack the glass.

I don't see us having much of a chance to get Lu Dort. You offered a lot and I'd do that but....

I love the Alex Len idea.

Just say no to Marcus Smart.

Could Trey Lyles help us?

Really the only issue is having the game slow down for him. But I'd guess that if Boston's trading Josh and Nesmith they want McDaniels coming back, too.. Sounds like they're haggling but are too far apart.

That seems like an absolutely horrible deal for Portland. We're not giving up a single player that projects to be a legit future starter, so it's all about the three 1st round picks and cap space.

And how valuable are 1st round picks from a team that has KAT, ANT, Dame, D'Lo, Nurkic, Vando, McDaniels, Nowell and Little?
