So you want the raptors to push chips all in for this year? If that’s the route, we should have multiple FRPs being shopped… which is Obv not the case.
I dunno man, I agree the east is wide open.. I agree we need bench help.. I agree that we can absolutely shock the NBA with a deep run, I just still think this is developmental year, so we’re not going to trade any FRPs unless the incoming player is someone that we truly want for multiple years. We won’t ‘settle’ on a player if it means losing a FRP.. and if said player is t available, I would rather we punt, save our draft capital, and go shopping again on draft night.
I think the raptors can afford to surrender a protected first for the right player. If they acquire Gallo and another key piece(poeltl)it could be enough to make the finals.
It would at minimum be a legit 6th man type like Bogi, HBarnes etc.
