Yep - that was a damn shame for Ingles and the Jazz
Kind of puts the Jazz in a bind as how do you replace Ingles
I saw on Twitter somebody suggested Marcus Morris for Ingles. For the Clippers, if George has the surgery, it might make sense.
I also saw this trade somewhere
Morris, Bledsoe and Ibaka for John Wall
If the Clippers offer that - the Rockets should take it and run
maybe flip Marcus Morris to the Cavaliers for Rubio and they would clear a bunch of cap
Why would the Clips make that move(Morris/Bledsoe/Ibaka)? But yeah, if the Clips are offering that for Wall, you take it and run. Then flip all those guys for picks and expiring contracts.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Not sure why the Clippers would do that deal other than to try to get better with Kawhi and George back next year. I think its a better deal for the Rockets than taking Westbrook which is a lot of salary. Bledsoe only has a 3.9m guarantee next year; Ibaka is expiring and Marcus Morris would be a player you can trade.

At worst, the Warden should be second team All defense.

Arguably should've been in last season instead of Thybulle who's a really really good defender but was doing so in 20mpg off the bench vs Bridges who started and played 32.6mpg every game and we put him on the opposing teams best scorer every time.

Luckily, if they remain 3rd and we remain 1st, we should only have to see either them OR golden state in the playoffs. Seems like being the first seed this year actually means a lot. Jazz, Mavs, nuggs are tough, but I don't think they give us problems like GS and Memphis.spanishninja wrote:

yeah, ideally, maybe Memphis even leaps past Warriors making Steph and crew have to do without home court after first round.

Re: Around the NBA 2021-22
They are a force. Man I am still mad if we were going to go for a guy we liked but take him a lot higher than slotted it wasn't Bane who I think we worked out twice. I remember saying I wouldn't be upset at all if we took him at 10. He just looked like that solid all around player who could handle/shoot, has a high bbiq that Jones likes.
He may even be playing better than Haliburton.
I do remember some thought he wasn't even an NBA caliber player though.

Still sad we didn't have the lottery luck for Morant. No CP3 now, but Ja with rest of the current group would've been a great show for a decade.

I was thinking the same, or even Bridges.
I meaning looking at the top teams in the West who deserves to get in?
Here is my list...
Booker
CP3
Draymond Green
Mitchell
Gobert
Luka
KAT
Can make a case for AD because of his numbers, but Lakers are sitting in 9th at 24-27, plus he's missed a lot of time. One of these guys has to be out for me to see Ayton or Bridges make it in, but even then I could see AD being the injury replacement.
As in he's the one to be replaced because he is/going to be injured?
Caved and had a look at the final fan votes, not that it's a great indication of how coaches would vote but it should give us a list to choose from.
WC Starters:
1. Lebron
2. Jokic
3. Wiggins
4. Steph
5. Morant
Reserves (my guess):
6. Luka
7. Book
8. CP3
9. Mitchell
10. Draymond
11. KAT
12. Ayton/Gobert
Outside of my attempt to push Ayton into Gobert's spot, pretty much spot on
West Pool: Starters
LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers) [captain]
Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets)
Andrew Wiggins (Golden State Warriors)
Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors)
Ja Morant (Memphis Grizzlies)
West Pool: Reserves
Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns)
Luka Doncic (Dallas Mavericks)
Rudy Gobert (Utah Jazz)
Draymond Green (Golden State Warriors)
Donovan Mitchell (Utah Jazz)
Chris Paul (Phoenix Suns)
Karl-Anthony Towns (Minnesota Timberwolves)

I can't believe Ayo Dosunmu dropped to 38. He made a lot of sense for us. Would have been nice to have him around, especially considering Shamet's mediocre play.

Assuming the Harden for Simmons swap happens... the Nets should trade Kyrie for the best sg they can get. Beal or Jaylen Brown maybe. Beal's vax status would create the same issue for them but at least he wouldn't come with the rest of the baggage.

I don't think they will trade Kyrie unless KD is fed up with him. They signed there together. But Beal is out for the season anyway, so that wouldn't help.

Every time we play a MoBros team, I always cringe when we we're on a fast break and he's the last guy on defense. Just never know what that guy would do
