Not completely insignificant... he could have potentially been moved. He is also a big FA target teams may hesitate to sign now. worth keeping an eye on

I'd like to think so... but... Unless Marks has a few things set in stone and is grinding them out, the optics are bad.

-9 straight losses
-your coach is blaming a lack of healthy talent
-Your star is complaining about a lack of spacing/shooters
-vultures in the media just pouncing left and right
-Morey tampering/leaking/etc

Make a move bro. Cant wait for buyouts

If the 76ers are unable to trade for Harden at the deadline, sources say they have a realistic path to acquiring him in the offseason.

The 76ers would trade Simmons to a team with cap room in exchange for assets in return. The Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic and San Antonio Spurs have cap space, while the Memphis Grizzlies or Houston Rockets could get there with minimal effort. The Portland Trail Blazers could also create enough room for Simmons.

The 76ers would also trade the contract of Tobias Harris, or they could also waive and stretch him.

Philadelphia would then sign Harden for either the max of $42 million or something close to it. The 76ers don't believe Harden would object to giving up a portion of his guaranteed earnings to sign with them.

Our leverage is gone. Harden's agent is definitely talking to Morey

We are in serious trouble.

Why do you say that? I thought Harden has no agent at this time. And, how does Philly have leverage when offering a guy hiding under the covers for 8 months willing to lose 31mil not to play? Who says he shows up and sticks around for his next team? Simmons makes Kyrie look reliable.

Mandate might be lifted soon. Question is, how badly Kyrie damaged Harden relationship. We have to hope KD can fix this mess.

Didn't the Mayor say he doesn't care? City mandate stays?

Yoooooooooo! Good to see you bro.

Re: Adams. he hasnt spoke about the vaccine mandate in a while. He double down on saying the mandate for masks in schools isnt going anywhere and then got into this really weird thing where people caught him eating fish when he is supposed to be vegan and pushed all kinda of money towards creating more opportunities for vegan offerings in the city.

Read on Twitter

#FishGate was trending on twitter. you cant make this stuff up.

It seems "when" not "if" the mandate either goes away or changes to allower perfomers/kyrie to play. Numbers are down, NY as a state is loosening things, and there are major protests happening on bridges and stuff.

really, WTF knows. Cali is ending their mask mandate. you would think that it has to go away soon, hopefully buy the playoffs. Kyrie seemed really optomistic it could end soon in his last post-game

Windhorst on ESPN says nash is "flat out bending the truth every night"

-Says Marks is actively talking to morey
-Says Nets want Curry
-Says Philly would only make a trade with commitment from harden on longterm deal, which they believe they have

Windy seems to be in Moreys pocket. Even if there is a deal potentially in the works, he is just going all in on the Nets having no leverage, Philly having tons of ways to clear cap, Morey being a smart GM, etc etc...

im expecting someone to be traded by thursday, this season is near lost at this point, the tension between harden irving and kd has ruined the chemistry of the squad and steve nash has not made any adjustments. its way too early to give up on the big 3 when they've played less than 20 games together. not sure what i think about ben simmons

I dont see any tension between the big 3. they all seem confident if they can all be on the floor for the playoffs that they cant be beat. They all see frustrated they cant seem to every sync up and do it.

harden checked out completely after kyrie returned and took control of offense, kd was the peacemaker in things, his injury sealed the deal on chemistry

That simply isnt true. Hardens usage was the same with Kyrie back. he still ran point and took the same amount of shots. Harden has been hurt. Hammy and hand.

Chemistry didnt look like an issue when they whooped the bulls.

Nice to see you around e.

Well hell.. I just looked it up and you're right. Harden doesn't have an agent.

But reports say that he's looking for one now.

Philly has all the leverage right now. They can simply wait til the summer and watch the Nets continue to self destruct.

I think Nash is lying too. I hate Windhorst but I don't think he's making this stuff up about Harden and Philly.

Philly has been crushing it with Embiid and that cast while the Nets have only 1 decisive win all season against playoff competition

The Nets havent had their team all season. When Embiid was out philly went 1-7. Embiid is also a career playoff choke artist loser who disappears at the end of games and has his own availability issues

The Nets are better then the Sixers.

Also........huh?

Look man, I'm not going to sugarcoat it. We have Kyrie for the next two games, but he's been such a non factor that we are probably going to lose against Washington and Miami. Why is he such a non factor? Nash? Lack of consistency since he's always in and out of the line up? Whatever it is, he has just been pedestrian in these last few games and isn't helping.

Then we won't have him for another 3 games before ASB. Who knows what will happen with Harden. I don't blame him at all for not wanting to come back to have to play 40 mins a night to carry this slop.

This losing streak is going to hit double digits.

We know the Nets management/coaching staff are liars as they have lied in the past. I don’t believe a word Nash says and will wait until tomorrow to see what the roster is like.

Washington is a must win as crazy as that sounds. If all the Nets did was not rest everybody & beat OKC (this still bothers me) & beat Sacramento, they're in the 6 seed & the media stoked panic is not as severe.

Odds are it's just 5 more games until KD returns. There are 4 winnable games with just one of the big 3 playing, They become very winnable if we have both an engaged Harden & Kyrie.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
