It's really too bad he's not a shotblocker/rim protector, because he's good at just about everything else.

I said this the day we traded for him. I truly see him as an Al Horford type of player for us. Someone I view as a core piece to build with.

I think people who were down on the initial value we got back in the trade just hadn't seen enough of him. He was already a 21-year-old walking double-double who had just battled injuries and confidence issues as a result.

The lack of shot-blocking doesn't take away from much of his value for me. I actually think a mobile shot-blocking 4 like Isaac is the perfect type of player to pair next to him. Unfortunately, I don't know if we will ever see a healthy version of him again, but the idea of it is one that excites me.

I’m going to miss Gary Harris an irrational amount for a guy who didn’t play a full season for us. Hope he’s able to help a contender if this was his last game for us.

Nice games from Franz, WCJ, Cole, Okeke and Gary tonight. The ball movement returned and we used our bigs very well in this game.

Ross to me is the goner. Bamba is the second likeliest to be traded after that. I actually think Harris might stick around. We have the cap space to resign him this summer.

Dating back to his days in Denver, he's well been regarded as an awesome locker room guy to have. One of the best in the league. He's a great defender, has revived his shot, and is just a role model for these young players to look up to.

I'd actually prefer to keep him and have a feeling the FO may feel the same. They constantly preach character and culture. Well, Harris is the embodiment of that.

No argument from me. I'd be happy to give Harris a 1-year deal if he was willing to take it. I wouldn't go any deeper than that though.

I would have no issue with Ross and Bamba being shipped out by Thursday. Anthony too, but he's not going anywhere right now unfortunately.

Franz was visibly frustrated. Just unacceptable hero ball. He has to start transitioning away from some of this stuff. Mosley needs to be in his ear.

This is the type of ish I'm talking about. Trade Cole, get a solid vet PG that knows his role and can just hit an open shot, and let Franz do more.

Cole is your Typical 6th man spark of the bench, he is NOT a starter

Let shope we draft Ivey and our Franz/JI/WCJ frontcourt is SET
Suggs, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, Jett
Franz, TDS,

Nice methodic win. No big swings. Just constant play.

How many games has the man of the match been a bench player now. For me Okeke's play in the 2nd was decisive in this win.

And Carter is younger than Okeke, Fultz, Bamba and Isaac.

2 bad games in a row for Wagner, but i do like that he is rebounding more and the assists are nice.

I think the win is good for team morale, it's not nice getting blown out in back to back games. I know the Blazers have a depleted team now, however for a team like ours it can do wonders. Small lessons on how to bounce back.

I think Harris's defense is more now of reputation than actual play. He hasnt been a good defender for years. Now maybe his injury played a part in that and now that he may be healthy things will turn around.

i might normally really like that, until you look at the opponents of Justise Winslow, Ben McLemore, Ellenby, to go with the only legit starters of Simons and Nurkic and their bench was G-league.

Return to Orlando Magic
