A chicken dinner would be good enough for Dragic. Get this bum outta here.

https://www.si.com/nba/2022/02/09/nba-trade-deadline-latest-rumors-buzz-ben-simmons-james-harden

· Can Toronto get something for Goran Dragic? Dragic’s value is in his $19.4 million expiring contract, and the Raptors have shown a willingness to attach draft capital to it in the right deal. Dallas has long had an interest in Dragic while New York, in need of more playmaking, could jump in the mix. Raps GM Bobby Webster called Dragic “a unique piece” this week and Toronto, riding a six-game winning streak, badly needs reliable bench help to reinforce an overworked starting lineup.

If thibs doesn't want reddish...they have lots of bigs that could be added to fix a lot of holes on this roster.

Can almost guarantee we arent giving up our FRP and it's the right move.

Just trade Dragic for some bench help

We seem like we're in a real good position to get a good piece. Teams want the expiring and we're fine taking on term. I'd deal the FRP depending on the player/return. But it's def not necessary.

This is gonna be an improved team after the deadline for sure.

Willing to take a bad contract from New York if it came with an unprotected FRP.

New York sucks at drafting anyway so they should just give their picks to Masai :D

Indiana Pacers receive: Goran Dragic, Chris Boucher, Khem Birch, Malachi Flynn, 2022 first-round pick, 2024 first-round pick.

I can't see us trading Boucher and Khem

I'd do this. Khem has been a non-factor for us most of the year.

Boucher hurts, but with Turner in the lineup we won't need Boucher as much.

This trade literally accomplishes everything everyone has been asking for, while not touching the core. Remember:

Endowment effect: We tend to value what we have more than other people do. You probably value some of your favourite team’s assets more than the market.

The golden rule: Ask yourself: if you were a fan of the other team, would you be excited about the proposal?

Gotta follow the rules

Too bad Rose got injured. He would have been nice off the bench. I wonder how many picks it would take for them to move RJ.

I think we aim to turn Birch into Noel and get Alec Burks and Kemba.

Dragic, Birch, Malachi for Kemba, Burks, Noel

Opens up 800K under tax for 15th spot too. Let's Knicks undo their summer. Team options after next year on Burks and Noel. Kemba will expire next year. So actually is just taking on money for next year. This is the one.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

as a basketball fan, I really want that Harden for Simmons trade to go through.
The thought of having 6'10 Ben Simmons and 6'11 KD on the same team gives a lil bit of a taller version of GOAT&Scottie "vibe"

I could get behind this. I always wanted to take a flyer on Noel. Kemba and burks are solid depth pieces as well

I can see that trade blowing up in the face of both teams.

Can't see how on the Nets side. On the Sixers side, though? I could possibly see it.

I like Noel, but isn't he a bit redundant with Precious and Boucher? It's not as if he'd have the size to guard the C's of the league, or the offence to score on the PFs of the league. Based on his basketball reference page, he weighs 10lbs less than OG. If the FO is high on him, I'm fine with it though.

Nerlens Noel and Alec Burks come on down. They are both pretty solid when it comes to add in a plug and play wing and big.

Wut? Noel, Kemba and Burks are terrible. Exactly the kinds of players that Masai wouldn't trade for.
Everybody is losing their freaking minds. Nutbars and wingnuts have infested this forum. We've become a public lavatory without cleaning staff.

Birch is redundant too and he's got 3 guaranteed years to Noel's 2. Noel is lob threat and is slightly bigger than Birch. Really this is as much about contracts as it is fit.
