You're certainly not alone and I'm probably in the minority, but we'll have to agree to disagree about that one.

All of your (valid) gripes about RJ's self-creation to this point, are just as true about Hali except Hali hasn't shown the kind of progress at the NBA level that RJ has...so far...not to mention that RJ is the younger of the two. I wouldn't do that straight up and I don't view Julius as a negative asset, dumping whom would make up the difference.

Agree to disagree. Won't go into the specifics unless you're interested in a more in-depth convo about it.

Not really looking to get into a big debate about it so I probably won't respond with an essay, but if you've got the time and quote me when you post your thoughts, I'll definitely take a look and see if you don't change my mind.

Hali touches a lot of my buttons, but I'm starting to wonder if I just don't place enough value on self-creation with kids...and Hali (like RJ, Pat & Ziaire Williams) feels like a poster boy for the kind of kid I over-rate in this sport.

He's certainly much more efficient than RJ, but when I watch Hali, I see even less self-creation skils than what we've been seeing out of RJ recently.

I would think the Lakers would have no choice if the Knicks said yes.

BTW when you fell asleep the Knicks went on a huge run.

I haven't followed the last 100+ pages - is this true or are we just being dramatic, not that I have a problem with that. But if this is true... ouch. Usually they make terrible deals that hurt not pass up on a solid deal to hurt us. I'd be impressed they found new ways to fck with us.

Randle, Fournier, Kemba for Westbrook and the Lakers 2027 first makes sense as it saves us around $100 million (from 2023 to 2026).

It will also give you a ready-made scapegoat when Cam and RJ still play inefficient ball and lose a **** of games once Prince Treadmill Randle is gone.

And I get to root for my guy Westbrook on the Knicks while you all suffer.

That sounds like a great deal for everybody tbh.

More the latter. Kings reportedly were interested in Julius if they couldn't get Sabonis, so some folks have jumped to 'we could've had Hali'

Sound enough for me and wingo - Leon sucks so bad he passed up a Randle for Hali deal. Off with his head!
