I WAS all for Turner, but what about his foot injury? When is he projected to play? And stress fractures in the foot can be red flags.

I'd hate to get him then have to wait a month till he played.
He doesn't have an actual fracture, just a reaction. Its a precurser to a fracture though. but a few weeks rest he should be okay to get his foot back to normal

So tired of Moreys BS lol so many rumors and he'll do some lame move that won't move the needle for them.

Still remember him saying the Raps were in LA La land while he traded for "Lowry-lite" George Hill who put up 2.5 1 1 on 30% shooting vs the Hawks while they got eliminated with homecourt advantage lmao

Its Windhorst vs Woj right now
Looks like Windy got fed wrong info. I would put Woj, Shams and now Fischer on the same tier.

Windhorst just gets his stuff from LeBron and Rich Paul. I think they would know that Brooklyn and Philly are talking, but Woj might be accurate about the sincerity of Brooklyn's interest. A lot of these proposals just looks like Brooklyn is feeding names to the media to disrupt Philly's chemistry.

This package seems pretty fair to me. Sixers can expand the deal to add Hield or another shooter like Gordon/Bogdanovic to replace Curry as well.

And how would they do that if Brooklyn gets all those pieces? What trading chips would Philly have left.

I'm with you, stress fractures in the foot are a HUGE red flag for any guy who's 6'11, 250. Ended many NBA careers and look at Zion, probably won't even play this year cause his fat ass can't put down a fork

Turner has a stress reaction, which is a precursor to a stress fracture. The big concern should be that it is in his foot. Players have come back from stress fractures in their lower leg (tibia, fibula) or vertebrae without much issue. Stress fractures in your foot are more likely to be a career ender. Really depends on which bone though.

Thanks, Doctor. Still I want a guy who can play this weekend, not wait those few weeks. Which is my short term, instant gratification thinking. :)

Also after their other moves I don't see how the Pacers would trade away their remaining big anyway.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Fischer is a stupider Windhorst.

Fischer is the guy who said Dragic would be dealt to the Mavs or be bought out by the Raptors before the season started.

It's Woj or Shams.

Woj and Sham's are on the level of Neiman-Marcus and Sak's Fifth Ave.

Windhorst is on the level of Walmart.

Fischer is on the level of Dollarama.

Any credible source that has come out to say for certain that Indy wants to keep Turner or is it all just speculation?

Going to be hard to get him now with the Sabonis deal. I'm sure he's available for the right price, but that price won't be something like expiring and a late 1st. Probably need to include a young core player.

They still have all their picks + Green/Korkmaz to match salary. I don’t think any of Hield/Gordon/Bogdanovic will cost more than a 1st.

Sixers get: Harden + Hield
Nets get: Simmons + Curry + Thybulle + Drummond
Pacers get: Green + Korkmaz + 2022 Sixers 1st

Too bad Rose got injured. He would have been nice off the bench. I wonder how many picks it would take for them to move RJ.

He's supposed to be back in 2 weeks (for what it's worth)

Man, you REALLY hate Birch's 6 mill per year deal, you post about it being a "terrible contract" a lot. I still disagree

That team still doesn't beat the 76er team we knocked out with the Kawhi series winner. Not sure they'll ever be that good again

Kingsway has a personal vendetta against Birch.

My guess is teams probably get to a point in negotiations where they don't agree to their best offer until closer to the deadline, thinking they should still scour the league between now and then for any better opportunities.

If Harden is back to what he was in Houston that’s a better team imo. Embiid has improved and is playing at an MVP level and Harden is way better than Butler. The top-end talent is much better than the 2019 Sixers.
