Bradley Beal says he's going to give the Wizards one last chance, Randle says he trusts Leon to get him a co-star ... both being shopped with a 1st round pick for any trade exception available ;)

i said years ago we need to ban everyone. it's the only way.

lets be fair the only reason we care about the knicks is because of this board. The knicks have provided us zero entertainment for the last 20+ years...we provide our own entertainment here outside of maybe POR or someone like that.

Yes. We like to torture each other more than being tortured by the Knicks. It’s a perfect balance between the S and the M

Probably because there is nothing good about staying put, but the fear is we don’t have tradeable contracts. The FO may have boxed themselves in and the only way out is drastic deals

Well, if they can't make any deals, they have definitely boxed themselves in for this season. They are basically going to have to dictate Thibs' lineups to him if we want to see any youth.

I don't know if I'm ready to co-sign that it is damaging long term (outside of Randle).

I will totally admit that I was wrong about giving Thibs more options though. For a normal coach that makes sense, but for him, I now know you have to limit the ingredients you give him.

I can't wrap my head around those of you wanting to do a Randle for Russ swap other than you're willing to watch the rest of us suffer worse at the cost of you suffer worse too. Basically you're an evil group of people.

Imagine RJ getting the ball after that deal. It can't be done!

If RJ was hurt and needs any kind of surgery Thibs is done here. I think he’s done here regardless, but that will put the final stamp on the narrative that Thibs runs guys into the ground.

Those of us who actually watched the game and weren’t looking for reasons to bash RJ could clearly see he was absolutely gassed last night. That’s when you get hurt and he did. Thibs can’t walk this one back

I thought it was just me... for some I really want to say: "it's not that serious". Of course I'd then become enemy #2 behind the FO. LMAO

You’re right and I wouldn’t say I’m emotionally invested at all. But the level of stupidity in their decision making is incredible.

Bro!!! You're preaching to the choir... it's honestly difficult (shouldn't be) being a Knicks fan

I was talking about the FO, but I agree about Thibs.

He is in a bit of a tough spot, but he's made things worse on himself in a number of ways. Decisions like last night are unconscionable.

He has been a bottom 10 coach for most of this season.

I don't think we could've gotten Haliburton for Randle

but I do think we could've traded them Randle w/ SAC getting to keep Haliburton and Fox

would the Kings have done Bagley, Thompson, 2022 1st for Randle instead?

would think that the value of Haliburton is greater than that of the pick (esp. if it's protected)

It wouldn’t be Randle just for Russ. It’ll be Randle + 2 or 3 other vets for Westbrook and a FRP.

You free up capspace a year or 2 earlier. And you create room on the roster. Also worst case, we can just waive Westbrook next season and go into the 2023 draft with a lot of capspace, lottery pick + Dallas pick

Or we can wait until the vets deals are over, continue the log jam on our roster, keep picking outside the lottery and be mediocre, hoping to make the play in.

Which one makes more sense?
