You're Europa in the TJ versus Mo Williams debates.

My gut is telling me Bucks will not make a trade and will do their work with the buyouts.

Which is 4 mil for us and 7 mil counting for the team that receives him. Not a big difference.

Yeah usually poison pill contracts are a big deal but Allen got a small extension on few years which does make him easier to trade. That said, I'd much rather keep him.

Which ultimately is fine. We just don't have a lot of ammo. I'd rather hold on to Donte than force something just to do something.

Well, if they end up with RoLo, Bledsoe and Thad, that’s clearly better than a trade. I’d take two of those three.

At least that Lakers game was a great showcase to convince guys.

If BroLo's ready by late-March, then this team doesn't really need anything anyways. Just a bench big in the meantime to soak up regular season minutes, and maybe they just sign Greg to another 10-day.

Something tells me if Horst/Bud wanted Bamba they would've already made a move to get him.

Filling the PJ Tucker gap seems to be the most complicated on the buyout market.

If we can't get Thad then I'm not sure if we find someone else who is better than our current small ball options.

Donte ending up on the Kings could make sense since we know they like him and they now have minutes available in the backcourt.

Sacramento has a surplus of bigs too now that they have Sabonis.

The Clippers also could use a guard and could make Ibaka or Batum available easily enough.

Bobby is better than Turner, why would Turner start?

I'd definitely start Turner over Bobby. It's the same reason you would start Lopez over Bobby

The Bucks have no bench scoring, so moving Bobby to the bench would improve that.
The Bucks problem the last couple weeks has been their defense, not their offense. This improves the defense tremendously.

Having said that, not going to happen.

You don't play full bench lineups in the playoffs, so that makes bench scoring irrelevant.

What????? Portis came off the bench last season. Was he irrelevant? If the Bucks get Turner, they would be getting him to replace Lopez if they think Lopez is done.

Grant Williams would be a nice addition to our bench. I like him.

But no way in hell would I trade Grayson for him. If I was Horst and the Celtics called me with that offer I would laugh and hang up the phone.

idk, on one hand i love Grayson's game and his fit with the team. on the other, we got him for next to nothing and his efficiency blossomed next to Giannis. So, just from a value perspective, it's a little enticing to pull off a buy low sell high with him. I guess it just comes down to what they feel is more valuable in the deep playoffs. A guy like Grayson or a guy like Williams.

Don't buy low sell high when you find a piece that is working really well on a championship team, instead buy buy buy low low low again and again.

Keep buying low and cutting bait with guys that don't work out. I mean buy low on Brook, on Pat, on Tucker, on Grayson, on Wes and on Bobby buckets. The only guy that we bought high on was Jrue and he was the piece that won us the championship.

Bucks don't have any assets worth Indy's while. Just tell Minnesota they can have their pick of any one of Nwora, Hood, or Semi plus a 2nd rounder for Naz Reid. Please and thank you.

Stunned to see people ok trading Allen. He’s been such a good fit, I don’t get why we’d move him

Has it? His stats are nearly identical to what they were last year in Memphis. Beyond the stats, I doubt teams have changed their opinion of his value all that much.

I was just thinking, he showed a lot of offensive versatility last night, which keeps making me think he has another level to unlock as well.
