No. If Foolius isn’t included then I don’t want Westbrook.

Imagine both of them on the same team. That’s enough to make me just only log on here solely for BaF.

I would want there 2027 1st rounder. I'm not helping the Lakers out and getting them off Westbrook unless they incentivize me.

If we're trading for Westbrook and keeping Randle, that's the dumbest possible outcome

Burks, Noel, and Kemba all expire next year anyways, and I can stomach Fournier for an extra year if I have to. At the very least, he's making under 20 mil and can shoot, so while he's overpaid and a bad contract, he's not taking up all of our space and he could theoretically get minutes next to a star

The only way that makes sense is if you think Westbrook is good and would make us better to compete for the play-in, which just, no. No he's not, and no he wouldn't.

We should just acquire both Wall & Westbrook. YOLO!!!

So crazy it just might work! (Starbury Franchise reference).

Trade for Westbrook and waive him in the offseason.

Tank for 2023 draft.

Cap space in 2023 and young prospects + potential young stud in draft.

Win/win.

SAC guys talking about Woj saying "rival executives shocked that Hali was dealt. If they would have known, they would have called for him".

They said it was well known that Hali was available. Everybody knew.

I would consider Wall but the Rox would want violence while the Lakers may value the win now pieces.

Also, no to Westbrook.

It's only the dumbest outcome if we keep Randle too

I only want Westbrook as a salary dump to acquire assets and rebuild (or I guess just "build" since we've never done it before). If we're keeping Randle, that signals we're not trying to rebuild, but retool, which won't work

But I also know this FO isn't here to rebuild, they're here to get to 30 wins any way they can, so even if we get Westbrook, I'm expecting it to be as a "winning" move by the FO, not a rebuilding one.

If we just end up trading shammgod away, our deadline transactions will be an overall success.

I would rather straight up cut Burks, Noel and Kemba than give Thibs the option of playing Westbrook 38 mins a night

I've learned my lesson with Tommy

I cant find your quote G so imma just quote this, you make the trade so u can officially make this RJ, 's team and remove the horrible fit of Randle and free up minutes for Obi and allow us to play as a TEAM.

Imagine saying westbrick helps you play as a team

I understand his game but he's not coming here to save the knicks. He's coming here to get Obi on the court and be somewhat of a pg. Thats it. This is RJ's team now

Just for the record and any fcking future receipts that some of y'all would like to bring up... I only advocate for Westbrook if Randle goes. We can only allow one star knucklehead per team.

Ud think Haliburton was Penny Hardaway the way some of u talk about him.

Looks like a good and efficient young player but idk about star. Not too athletic or strong and has a weird shot thats hard to get off.

If we could have gotten him for Julius, IQ, and such then sure, but giving up our whole team basically like some of u are saying is a joke lol.

I hear you, but devil’s advocate (and Dolan might literally be the devil)—- there’s part of me that would at least respect it for its straightforward honesty about what the Knicks are. We’d be an expensive and entertaining circus designed not to compete against NBA contenders but against Broadway shows and other expensive weeknight midtown tickets.

If Dolan is incapable of building a winner, he might as well put butts in seats and give the city (and tourists) something to cheer for.
