LeBron has slept through December to March for like 6 seasons in a row now. How many more years do we need to keep doing the “father time has finally beat Bron” threads in Jan/Feb? He will pick it up again in April if the Lakers can make the playoffs.

That's why you play the games. But the pause in the middle of the season most definitely helped the lakers. The most games Anthony Davis ever played in a season (regular season + playoffs) was 84 with the pelacans. I highly doubt he plays healthy going to the playoffs.

If you are a betting man, you probably bet that Anthony Davis misses at least 10+ games at some point at which affects the lakers season. The gap in the middle most definitely helped his body.

So you don’t have team . Just say that .
Sure then - Denver - I highly doubt AD is healthy enough in a full season

He's having another great year, All-star caliber, dare I say ALL-NBA. Yet, you have these absolute buffoons on ESPN. There's this guy called "Jacoby" on Jalen and Jacoby's show, I don't even know his first name, he's been screaming all day that the NBA needs to investigate the Kings for making the deal because according to him it was so egregious.

The reality is that the best player in that deal was Sabonis... Haliburton hasn't shown that level yet.

Exactly. I said the same in the trade thread that I thought it was pretty fair both sides.

The media gets a narrative and runs with it.

Sabonis is an upgrade for right now and the near future. Haliburton is nice piece to lead a rebuild for Indy.

I said the same and told Sacramento fans so as well. Never understood why everyone was so up in arms about the trade. It's like they got obsessed with the idea of what Hali *could* be they forget what Sabonis actually is-a 25 yr old two time all star whose low post presence perfectly compliments Fox
Everyone just wanted to make "Kangz!!" jokes.

They just need some more shooters. Barnes is nice, but they need a cpl more. They're getting there though.

It was an even trade.

Why make this comment without acknowledging that LeBron has missed 17 games...and AD has missed 21 games.

"with Lebron and AD" makes it sound like the Lakers have actually had them...

They were there tonight and lost to Keljin Blevins.

Refs had nothing to do with it...oh wait, he is a player?

AD has to thank Dwight for doing all the dirty work on Jokic in the Conference Final 2 years ago... if he had had to play 35 minutes as C against Jokic the series would have been different

I would say I can't believe Lakers lost vs Blazer's D-league team + Nurk. But seeing them play this year I totally believe it. Fault still on WB's boneheaded plays and TOs though. /average Lakers fan

He most def is not a scapegoat. People keep **** defending this dude he's absolute garbage and the rotations show it. Yeah he inherited a bad constructed roster but has he maxmized it? Hell to the **** NO. This game here is proof that Vogel is terrible at in game adjustments.

Or that LeGMs magic has worked out. Easy to blame a coach meanwhile he has nothing to do with this crappy roster construction. Pat Riley knew what damage LeGM would cause so Riley told him to stick his trade ideas up where the sun don't shine and told him to leave if he doesn't agree with Riley's view. The Heat are still a stable franchise thanks to Riley, not easy to admit as a Boston fan because i don't like Riley at all, but he is a great GM for his franchise.

Pelinka is digging a grave for himself by accepting the role as the Klutch Sports puppet. What's next?? Signing Klutch contracted players Bledsoe and Thompson?

So figure that in to your hot takes about AD and LeBron tonight... They looked terrible... But it's a kind of terrible lakers fans haven't seen this season...

The worst team in the league blew out this team day before yesterday. The Bucks game was a blowout as well so everyone could/should have been rested.

No excuses

I legit haven't seen passing like that in years on our squad, i could damn near cry seeing us get easy buckets. It was as if Sabonis and Fox n the rest of the gang had been together for some months. Sabonis will be a fan favorite here in a town that wants to cheer for something so badly

I get that the Kings have made crazy moves in the past when Vlade was here and the GM before him, but, man people really destroyed the Kings the last couple days. So so over the top

The problem people had is on the defensive end of the floor. The Kings are going to beat the Wolves, while playing at home, but they're going to give up 120 points tonight.

True, although Haliburton was a very very bad defender himself.

ClutchPoints: “This is the lowest point of just about any season I’ve seen as a Laker over the years. I don’t have any words for it because we’ve used all our words up.” James Worthy was speechless after the Lakers loss to the Blazers.

The post referred to their overall record...being below .500. Not to last night's game.

But I agree, embarrassing to lose to that Blazers' team.
