I get the upside isn’t tremendous there, but seems like a good role player who’d fit on most teams.

they want to get under the luxury tax and he's a good asset. don't know what celtics are doing... they're like 5th-8th team in the east and capped out and still need some pieces...

It would be pretty hilarious if Semi gets traded to the Celtics.

Celtics: DDV and Semi
Bucks: Grant Williams and Schröder

I don't think he's a great fit for what they like to do, for one. He's been knocking down open shots, but he's still really got a big man's game, and Boston prefers single big lineups, which you can't run with G. Williams because he's too small/short. He's a smart player but he's not like Draymond smart where he can damn near see the future on the court, and he doesn't have the footspeed of the smallball bigs you'd want him to emulate.

All that said, he has been fine as a 3rd big for them, they're playing well, and if they were to make the trade, I think it'd be more about what they see in Donte than about any negative impressions of Williams. Maybe they're going to trade Smart but want somebody who does some of the same things.

He really likes him based on his last few pods. Been basically a revelation this year hitting 3's.

Donte is the kind of guy the Celtics tend to target.

There's plenty of reason to believe they'd be buying low on him as well.

If he were playing as well as he did last year no way would he be available for Grant Williams and a Schroder rental.

Seriously doubt Donte will be here next year so I think he gets traded even if it’s just for someone marginally better

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

I've always liked Sato but oh my are his numbers bad bad this year. I haven't watched a whole lot of the Pels though so maybe something was up.

I just saw that WAS was willing to talk on anyone not named Beal. I remember the Bucks were linked to Deni Avdija when he came out (I think they worked him out). How has he been? Any chance a package of Donte and Nwora will get it done? That works in the trade machine.
