So Chanel approves of the silence, the hiding, and maybe the moves too!
Held accountble how?
If the Knicks shed some of these contracts, it will be an admission that these moves were mistakes and that the FO is holding itself accountable.
The FO should be judged by the moves they make and their impact on the outlook of this team. Ultimately, his survival as a POBO will depend on that.
Addressing the media and reporters saying "Bad Leon, bad Leon" doesn't change the outcome. Him sharing his strategy makes him lose leverage and paints him into a corner as it will be harder for him to change course in case a better course of action presents himself.
I never wanted Leon Rose and do not think he should be holding that position by the way.
Dont change the fact that he pussy. Hee afraid of the Media and to take tough questions about this trash that he help build since he been here. Its been misstep after misstep.. At least Brian Cashman had the balls to face the Media. John Mara got more heart than Leon Rose.
What do you want him to say?
"Yeah we effed up with those signings, but we will adjust to achieve our goals" and thus let it be known publicly that he's looking to dump Fournier, Burks and Noel? That hurts his leverage and hurts the Knicks.
I don't understand this need to hear Leon Rose to be honest. I don't think it's rational because realistically it doesn't achieve anything. They're not gonna see the light because a random reporter points out the mistakes that they've made or asks them to foolishly share their plans.
