The reason for that that are very likely. They know we want Brunson (Thank Ian Begley) so they are making demands of picks or the youth in a trade to take them because teams are conditioned to look to rob the Knicks.

I don't understand this need to hear Leon Rose to be honest. I don't think it's rational because realistically it doesn't achieve anything. They're not gonna see the light because a random reporter points out the mistakes that they've made or asks them to foolishly share their plans.

If it’s irrational, why is it routine for front office leadership in every major sport to address the media after making significant transactions? Or just periodically make themselves available to the media in general. Why do teams leadership hold state of the team addresses? Why do team leadership hold radio interviews with media members like Michael Kay, SAS, etc.

even if Thibs is fired, Johnnie Bryant ain't the one I'm hiring as the HC. the clear choice is and always has been Kenny Atkinson. he's done EXACTLY what the Knicks need to be doing

I'll believe it when I see it. Thibs just seems too set in his ways. And Leon and Wes seem to close to Thibs. there's a disconnect between them that has been reported on multiple occasions: the push and pull between rebuilding and winning now. Thibs clearly wants all in, while this FO wants to take a measured approach. you'd think they would've gone thru this stuff during the interview process, but no, because it was a sham; they were hiring Thibs all along because they're friends
