To each his own. I think Brunson is a lot better than reddish
Cuz you basing it on what they’ve show right now. I’m tryna play the long game. Brunson ain’t coming here anyway. Which is why I said “just to get turned down by alligator arms.” He tryna get paid. He going to whoever gives him the most paper. That wasn’t gonna be us.
But Cam wont develop here and you know that. We don't play Obi we don't play IQ. Grimes needs time too. Unless a trade opens up spots for them. Plus Rose is coming back.
Of course he was going where the money was. He wants about 20 MM which is what the Knicks were trying to clear up with that proposed deal. And all things equal I do know there was mutual interest.
I’m more inclined to believe this off-season Leon will attempt to correct some of his mistakes and declog the glut to open up developmental minutes for some of these young players HE drafted and HE acquired. If he is proven right on them, it goes on his ledger. Cuz right now he looking wild shakey. He knows the hot seat is coming.
As for Brunson, man today’s player don’t really gaf who their pops played for, or who their pops was the first client for that’s now running an organization. All they care about is them SNAPS and they following the bag. I’m not even convinced Brunson even wanna come here like that. Not saying he wouldn’t but I doubt it’s some burning desire or we’re at the top of his list. This ain’t some Melo situation where he wants to be here adamantly.
