It needs to be done right out the gate. Scale back Tucker and bring him off the bench if that’s the case

All the bluster from Heat fans about not being bothered by this trade, the "Heat in 5" comments, etc, is a form of emotional compensation.

Mia ought to be terrified and should probably make a bold move.

Because they acquired Mental midget Ben Simmons? I know you bleeping lying…..

James Harden is 32 and a half years old. :o

And fat and lazy too.

It’s a good move for them if it pans out this year or next, but Harden is not a good locker room guy and his play style is terrible

I don't know how good they could be this season without the pieces that fit with Harden and Embiid. Do they have a one-year window to win it all? :o

What position does Simmons play assuming Kyrie stays at PG?

40 minutes left. 20% off your F5 three pack. And if you order in the next 10 minutes Iggie will never OP again this season.

Does it even matter?

I'm not even sure what position Harden played for them.

15 of our next 20 games are at home.

If seeding is all we're talking about, we'll be alright.

I'm sorry, but I haven't seen a single "Heat in 5" post on here! Who is saying things like that? I think the 76ers improved considerably since they moved someone who wasn't playing for Harden. So atleast for the next year or 2 they've definitely improved. The Nets are debatable. Losing Harden is big, and Irving is not playing half the games. Not sure how the fit will be, but as someone posted Simmons won't need to worry about shooting as KD and Irving will hog all the shots.

Wait and see I guess.

I appreciate that he can shoot threes.....but very well? He's a career 34% shooter, which is roughly average, below average.

I will say that if the Nets get Turner we are definitely **** and I’ll take back what I said about their FO.

Kyrie
Harris? Or Whoever
KD
Simmons
Turner

Is not a lineup we can compete with if they are healthy.

So, one of the paths Miami could go is to trade Duncan for multiple players and maybe an asset while saving money and then go out and acquire Rui or PJ Washington for Morris, new player and a 2nd(maybe this year's first?) There's things that can happen but most need to be done with Duncan and saving some money to stay under the tax.

I'm sincerely interested, it's not a veiled criticism or anything.

Simmons is a point forward. Kyle is a SG.

Believe it or not some wouldn’t trade Herro for either and would rather send Bam. I say screw those 2 and go after Mitchell when they get smacked in the playoffs

I like Donovan Mitchell better than any of those players, but he becomes a free agent in 2026 and will be offered a super-max.

I think Irving was playing off the ball with Harden a lot. So nothing changes in that regard .. just that he'll have more than enough shots now without Harden. Fantasy wise, Irving's value went way up :D
