-Can he play big (PF/C)
-Can he be a roll man?
-Can he defend 1-5?
-What positives are their offensively, we know he cant shoot
-Is there any player he owns/shuts down or gives him trouble?
His finishing around the rim is ssketchy, he can finish but he get spoked if he fall 2 or 3 shots on a row.
He can play PF but you would need to convince him he's not a PG, offensively he can roll to the basket, he has a high IQ and he see the floor pretty well.
He can defend 1 to 4, 5 are difficult if the big is massive like Joel or people like Giannis that can outmuscle but he can stop wings pretty much totally.
But he givesyou a lot of flexbility and allows you to run Durant/Simmons defensive line ups that are going to be pretty fun for you
- One of the best transition players in the game.
- Great at finding open shooters.
- Can be a roll man but wasn't featured in that role much in Philly (his best scoring game was last year against Utah where he played the 5 and destroyed Gobert...but that lineup won't hold defensively because one thing he can't do is protect the basket).
- Most of his scoring comes from athleticism. He's not great at finishing in traffic or off of post-ups. Brooklyn's lineup is a much better fit with his offensive strengths than Philly's. He really gummed up the offence here by hiding in the dunker's spot. In BKN he'll have more options in the half court.
- He can limit or lock down anyone that isn't bigger than him. Unfortunately, he won't do much individually against Embiid or Giannis but will be good in a team concept.
- Good rebounder that will turn boards into transition opportunities.
