Offseason Jo /Morey vs Maxey/Harden doubles tennis is on the menu boys.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

get used to his "ole"-style of defense....and his demand to be traded from Philly sometime around next years all-star break.

Not exactly. The '82 76ers getting defending MVP, Moses Malone was like Golden State adding Kevin Durant. It was over, and everybody else in the league knew it.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

He makes more on opt in + extension then opt out + new contract.

Truly hilarious clips from that game in SAC. Harden knows how to check out lol.

That's what BKN gets for letting Flat Earth Dunning Krueger run wild.

Overjoyed. The first thing I did when this was announced was throw on a Sixers shirt and drove to get a cheesesteak. We have a fighting chance of winning it all.

The opt-in is, I believe a huge win for Philly. It gives a 2-year window for the title without the Sixers having to make that albatross commitment. If things get really ugly, heck, heck can walk in summer 2023. Having to re-sign him this summer would be mortgaging the team's future with only a few months' data to go on.

I kinda feel as if the opt-in warrants its own separate thread. Maybe I'm wrong about it being a big win, but hey, he didn't seem to be offering that to NJ, and from my current perspective it seems huge.

Morey prob told him they needed the opt-in to justify trading for him now. Likely explained how Harden could get even more money that way.

Really smart move as it gives us an out in summer 2023 in case things go south.

The way this game was played it looked to me like it was the "signal" for Morey regarding proof he was still elite. He might have a legit tight hammy but I would not be shocked to see an MVP worthy Harden very soon.

I kinda feel bad for some of the guys that understood what was happening with the Kyrie thing, but there's just as many blinded by it. I mean how do you actually build a championship team with a goofball in and out on road games only. And the reasoning for it? Players want a teammate that commits and sacrifices to the team - minimum. Otherwise join a circus or just opt out and let someone else sign on. No .. lets hogtie the team and leave it in the hands of politicians.

I think HArden is already declining physically, but he´s more than good to still get 22 ppg and 8-9 apg , shooting a lot of 3s for the next 3 years . I hope he can recover fully from his hammy and takes better care of his body. But i think we have a good window to win a title in the next 3 years. HArden is a pretty good passer when he wants it, it will make the game easier for our team.

SO, how do we deal with HArden´s injury? Is it even real? It seems to me he lost a bit of his first step in the games i saw this year, but maybe is because his hamstring isnt fully recovered and he´s a litte overweight :) I think we should let him fully recover, before playing again. Better prepare him to be 100% for the playoffs.

We need him playing sooner rather than later. I legit think there will be some growing pains after we had Embiid playing PG for the last 2 months to then let James run the show. I hope he plays tomorrow in what should be a cupcake. I'd be fine if he took a few games here and there to rest the hamstring leading up to the playoffs.

Mercifully, Harden and Embiid play the complete opposite positions and don't occupy the same places on the court. I also think the PnR or DHO situation needs to be figured out between them.

I knew it had to be Kyrie Irving that didn't get along with Harden. It never fails with that guy to be a problem wherever he goes.
