LeBron and AD went on TV the other day and basically gave up on the season and the roster they're now stuck with...

They may find a way to play better but they essentially off-loaded responsibility onto the front office to bring them better team mates... That didn't happen, so now we're stuck with a team LeBron, for all intents and purposes, built around himself, that he doesn't believe in, and won't take responsibility for...

Nothing in that gives me any confidence in this team, the FO, LeBron, AD, or Westbrook... So what's the point of watching the rest of the season?

I'm not sure if I can think of a more complete disaster at this point... Healthy, Star players, who had full say in their team mates, saying they can't win with them... A FO that says the players we have are essentially untradeable... and a Coaching staff who has no clue how to make it work...

**** it... I hate Mike D'Antoni with a passion, but fire everyone, hand this **** ball over to him if he'll take it, and watch him run LeBron, Westbrook and AD into the ground for a few months...

It feels like being in a bad marriage….but they won’t sign the papers. I agree 110%. I think I’m out with this team. Have no idea how to pick a new team. **** is horrible

LeBron and AD tried to put.pressure on Rob to make a move. It didn't happen. They all move on.

LeBron will change his tune. It will be about how they needed to hit rock bottom and now can build something from here

LBJ, AD and Monk go nuclear in a series or two, including upsetting higher seeded teams?

Is it sustainable to win a bunch of 125-120 games in the playoffs?

This season is basically done. I a way im glad we didn't do a stupid trade like giving our 1st. Theres no way Russ is here by the beginning of next season.

Bring Russ off the bench to destroy 2nd units and try to win a playoff series.

Ship Russ and retool in the off season.

Chalk this season as a waste.

Next season you can now trade two future #1 picks plus an expiring Westbrook for a better third option. This was better option than getting a worthless John Wall and losing the pick.

Can't stand watching Russ throw up another wild shot & TO, standing around on defense. Having him on the team is just freaking demoralizing. What a joke!!!

LeBron put pressure on Rob to get us in this situation.

It's good though that they didn't make a dumb desperation move, like giving up more draft picks or THT for the wrong deal.

There is a humongous hill to climb out of this year and next, and teams know we are desperate and I am sure tried to fleece us even more.

Probably best to stand pat specially in a lost season.

So the price to get rid of Simmons was 2 firsts and taking Harden? The NBA may be broken.

Ball so hard wrote:May have been a blessing in disguise that Rob didn't make any trades. After that Schroder and Westbrook trade i'm not sure I want this guy making another trade. I've said it before and i'll say it again... best to blow up this team. New GM who then picks his coach, then rebuild the team to his liking. Trade AD, Bron (if he wants out), Westbrook, etc. Our title window is all but closed shut. Please for the love of god do not build around AD.

Agree. The team might as well do the inevitable and jump start a painful rebuild.

We made the most rational decision for the long term health of the team by standing pat. Now the question is, what do we do with this season. Does the team want to get their act together and try to make some noise or just quit? I gotta be honest, I don't think we are as far off from a competitive team as we look. If we can pick up a wing and a PG who can take away Russ' minutes, this team can still make some noise. But if LeBron is not going to get the team motivated, then we won't do crap. So now, it all falls on LeBron the leader's shoulders.

Think I’m done watching Laker basketball for the season. Maybe next year too if WestTrash is still on the roster. See yall in 2022-2023 season perhaps or 2023-2024 season. Still a Laker fan for life, but I’d rather use my time on more productive activities.

I propose we all sit out the rest of the season with "mental health issues" until the Lakers trade themselves into the Bucks...

18 seasons in, he knows very well when a team can compete. This team just can’t. The only thing motivating him is his scoring and possibly a scoring title.
