- None of the combinations of our young players are really all that enticing when it comes to landing a star, especially with the lack of valuable salary fillers (our salary fillers are all underperforming their deals).

I agree with all of this. I think we tried to do deals, but the offers we got would have made us even worse. I'm glad the FO didn't panic. While I would have loved to see Randle gone--and wouldn't mind Fournier and Walker going with him--not even the trade rumors were particularly enticing. That said, I still don't get why we traded Knox and the CHA FRP for Cam Reddish if we didn't want Cam Reddish. That's my main issue with us at the deadline.
RIP magnumt--you're literally why I'm still here on these boards.

I really find it hard to believe that Alec Burks couldn't have been moved for an expiring contract.. or even Kemba.

Yeah, I agree, but I don't think the FO kept Burks and/or Kemba out of love. I think they also wanted them gone--particularly Kemba (who was benched earlier with FO approval)--but just couldn't find a decent deal.

I'm going to stick to this belief--admittedly without evidence--as it will help me sleep tonight.

So you were saying about these contracts being easily moveable without assets attached …

Never said they were easily movable. I only hoped they could engineer a deal. I was quite vocal that Randle is now overpaid. I did think Burks was movable and possibly Evan. What I said is bad contracts get traded every season so there was still hope. Evidently not

I might watch just to see if Thibs has a stroke during a game

I’ve run out of reasons to watch. This is just bad. I’m getting really busy so this garbage is easy to cut out now. I’ll browse the board, but I’m not watching this team the rest of this season

Looking at these jersey numbers, Robert Randolph was right about 11:7. He just had the wrong team involved

If KD--at 33 with multiple serious injuries throughout his career--doesn't come back this time healthy and stay healthy, that team melts down big time in the playoffs. Couldn't happen to a better group.

Did the Sixers actually become the favorite to get to the finals out of the east? I think they might have.

How in the world did they actually turn the Simmons situation into Harden who may actually be the perfect player to pair with Embiid?

It's so mind boggling how other teams get things done while the Knicks just flounder around regime after regime. One decent season duped the FO into thinking they accomplished something and ruined it all just as quick.

I blame all of you...not Knicks fans... just you here on the forum, all of you.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.
