We are at a 120 million for next season without Mitchell’s extension and the draft pick. We can even offer the mid-level to Brunson without making moves. We will most likely lose Mitchell (we never extend our own draft picks) and give away draft capital to unload contracts to go after Brunson. We will most likely not even get him and settle for another c-level player

You should off yourself if you do switch up and become a Nets fan.

Watching Knicks basketball is death by a thousand cuts while being water-boarded. Might as well just cut to the chase.

How in the world did they actually turn the Simmons situation into Harden who may actually be the perfect player to pair with Embiid?

It's so mind boggling how other teams get things done while the Knicks just flounder around regime after regime. One decent season duped the FO into thinking they accomplished something and ruined it all just as quick.

I blame all of you...not Knicks fans... just you here on the forum, all of you.

a lot of people are saying the nets got much stronger with ben but i actually think its the sixers in this trade. they didnt even give up maxey or thybulle. they have a shot to go to the finals

All depends on which James Harden they got. The fatsuit one or the one that played under Morey before.

Knicks only make the most obvious trades and that would be obvious. Dont imagine he'd want to come here though

Philly had more shooters especially spot up shooters and a zone busting dominant center who can spread the floor and score in the paint and still got exposed in the playoffs because of Simmons

Also Kyrie and KD are isolation scorers and to beat the zone you gotta swing the ball around but you cant swing it to Ben  and also they will have to play a center with no outside scoring ability whether its Claxton or Drummond it wont matter but the floor will be shrunk even more.

Oh and the whole hack a Simmons in the 4th quarter strategy that had him getting subbed out because he couldn't shoot free throws

Good luck

Agree 100%. Harden, assuming he can get back into some sort of shape, fits extremely well with Embiid--no longer does Embiid have to carry that offense. And they get to keep Maxey and Thybulle? Well done.

Simmons strengthens the Nets defense and Curry is a tough loss, but adding Harden mitigates the loss on offense and keeping Thybulle and Maxey help mitigate the defensive loss. More to the point, the Nets rise or fall on KD's health...and he's injured...and getting old. Simmons has shown that he cracks under pressure and Kyrie is cracked. Without KD there, they get swept in the first round.
RIP magnumt--you're literally why I'm still here on these boards.
RIP The Hater--keep up the good fight in the great beyond.

Harden was the only one of their big 3 that had a strong psyche, now the Nets have 3 fragile...albeit talented but oh so fragile stars. Just wow...

Yea, the Sizers kept Maxey who will learn from the master how to be a combo guard like that, Thybulle to lock wings down and even Harris who is overpaid but is perfect 4 with that group and plays like everything Randle isn't... whoops, forget I mentioned that last part to you... but you know it's true.

If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Has Leon addressed the media yet?

Spoiler:
That's a joke, son? You know what I mean? A real knee-slapper to warm up the room.

Stephen A says a lot of sh*t

I do think Dame would want to play in NY, but if he's leaving Portland, I think he'd prioritize a winning situation. this isn't that

Golden State intrigues me. what if they offered 1 of Wiggins/Green + some of their young talent Kuminga/Moody/Wiseman/Poole? Dame would get to play in his hometown for a winner
