In concept though, they are mostly tradable. Burks and Noel have a team option after next year. Walker expires.

Now, Burks has been bad, but I at least partially blame him being used as a point guard and top defender. He's not being used the same as last year. Noel, hasn't been great or healthy. So, there goes the concept.

Rose has an extra year, but is better (when healthy). He just hasn't been healthy.

Randle and Evan, ok, yes, not tradable. Again, in theory, that was supposed to be the talent. It's just not.

We don't know what offers were made. It is possible the better value is using them as expirings next year and figuring out what to do with Randle and EF.

did people really expect scott perry to do anything but stand pat? it's his signature move. and by his standards everything is going perfectly here.

Because it's the NBA I expect Simmons to have good games in Philly and maybe even a couple of outside shots. Revenge is best served in the City of Brotherly Love.

We have Leon Rose who is essentially trying to save his job.
Trading all of his prize free agent signings for scraps (which all of us would have loved) however will just will magnify his ineptitude as the POBO.

Him and Thibs are going to try to save their jobs praying for a healthy D Rose to get us into the play in game so they can survive another year.

I'm surprised none of the Knicks beat writers have written a piece on how Leon failed epically this offseason

Actually a good deal for the Wiz and wtf is Dallas thinking? The draft assets given to get KP haven't even been fulfilled yet and he's already gone! Not for a star or anything.... wooow, just wooow

This can't be true, tell me I've been duped.

You were not duped. The Mavs were though. One of our handful of small wins over the last decade.
He and Luka didn't like each other.

I think he’s running out of ex players to trade for. I’m sure he was devastated by the kings’ refusal to trade fox.

To be fair we did 1 move, traded for Cam. Was just a month ago and he hasnt played, so nobody cares anymore lol.

The play-in games also mean we wont be eliminated from contention for a while, and even then Cam will prob just play 10 mpg like Obadiah.

Hey, part of the fun of following this team is the perpetual misery. Winning is boring :meditate:.

I wonder why the Nets held onto those 2 1st rounders...there window is limited and they could use improved depth.

probably just ran out of time to make anything happen. but i read they can actually push the philly 2022 pick to 2023 if they want. they can trade it this summer then instead of making it.

running out of time is a horrible excuse. This is there job this is what they do. They should have had side deals lined up because the Harden rumors didn't start this morning.
