It was better to keep Grant than to give him away for nothing, which is what was offered - good move by Weaver.

Plus a much-needed big was added - good.

Grant has clearly been energized and had a good game tonight, so his value has already increased - good.

Either Grant starts playing better when Cade returns and they win games - bad.

Or Grant continues to play poorly and then there will be less of a market for him - bad.

Is it actually though??….

Also cmon man, the dude can’t win with that logic.

He’s a piston and could be around for a while. It’d be good to see him start playing well with Cade.

I also highly doubt we let anything mess with our lottery pick. Can always rest him again like we did last season.

Or Grant and Cade both play well and we still keep losing like we have all season long and then add some good pieces with our pick and capspace and start winning some games again - good

shocked to find out Bagley is only as tall as we all thought Cade was. Bagley is 6'8" and Cade is 6'6"

Do you have an official source for that? I'm still seeing 6'10 for him.

Btw, apparently Zion is 6'6?

No he's not, it's quite obvious just watching him he's not 6'8. And Cade is probably more like 6'7 and still one of the taller guards in the league.

A kings fan made the comment that Bagley is truly only 6'8" because he has all that hair. Same with a few Pistons fans and Cade. Apparently, there is no head under that hair, you can only measure them to the forehead and hope they have a long neck ala Bosh.

I would like to get some real measurements for these guys. Watching them stand next to other guys make me think there is some very generous tape measures or as you say - they have huge bone knobs on the top of their skull like conheads under there hair.

Thats what I think of when I consider 6'8" basketball players. Shoulder height of a 6'5" guy, enormous top of the skull.

Its all about shoulder width, wingspan, shoulder height, standing reach. Anything above the shoulders other than the brain isnt helping them play basketball better.

I can’t find anything on Bagley from the Combine. Did he not participate?

Nbadraft.net has this from 2016

Notes: Measured 6’9.5 without shoes, 6’10.5 with shoes, 208 lbs, with a 7’0 wingspan and 8’9 standing reach at the 2014 USA Junior National Team Mini Camp …

Bagley is definitely taller then 6'8" You can tell just by looking at him on the court.

Yes, in 2014 he was 6'10.5 which means the guy that said he is 6'8 doesn't know wtf he is talking about.

Wow. So apparently Bagley has a 7'1 wingspan, but Beefstew (never would've guessed this) has a 7'4 wingspan. Beef has started to look better as a rim protector as of late (which has been one glimmer of hope as every team we face lately seems to have been absolutely on fire from three lately).

I saw a different level of play from Stewart last night, maybe a chip on his shoulder with Bagley coming in. I think Stewart needs that chip. With Bagley playing for a contract we may enjoy some good competition.
